Aníbal Kerpel
Aníbal Kerpel is an Argentine producer, engineer an mixer. Member of the progressive rock band Crucis, he began a successful career as a producer after the split of the band, working with artists such as Los Prisioneros, Café Tacvba, Divididos, Molotov, Gustavo Santaolalla, Bersuit Vergarabat, Juanes and Árbol, among others. During his career he has received a Grammy Award and over ten Latin Grammy Awards. Career Kerpel was one of the members of the progressive rock band Crucis, playing the keyboards. The band released two studio albums, ''Crucis'' in 1976 and ''Los Delirios del Mariscal'' in 1977, before splitting in 1977. After the end of the band, Kerpel began working as producer for various artists, many times co-producing with Argentine musician Gustavo Santaolalla. Raúl Alberto Antonio Gieco, pseudonym, better known as León Gieco (born on November 20, 1951 in Cañada Rosquín, Argentina) is an Argentine folk rock performer, Music composer, composer and interpreter. Café Tacvba (Pronounced ''kaˈfe taˈkuβa'') is a band from Ciudad Satélite, Mexico. The group gained popularity in the early 1990s. In fact, it is two albums—''Revés'' is an instrumental album, ''Yo Soy'' a collection of songs the band had been saving up since their second album, '' Re''. Avalancha de Éxitos (in Spanish: ''Avalanche of Hits'') is Café Tacuba's third album. In 1996, two years after their acclaimed ''Re'', the band had amassed enough new music to fill four CDs, but couldn't winnow it down to a single album. So instead, they covered eight songs by other Spanish-speaking artists, who ranged from totally obscure to well-known. Jorge Humberto González Ríos (born 6 December 1964) is a Chilean singer-songwriter, best known for being the leader, vocalist, writer and bassist of the band Los Prisioneros, considered by some to be the most popular rock band in the country. González recorded six studio albums with Los Prisioneros and five as a solo artist. He also formed the Latin electronic project ''Gonzalo Martínez'' with fellow musician Dandy Jack, which would become the precursor of the genre known as technocumbia, established with their first and only album released in 1997. It became a success in Europe's underground music circuit, mainly in Germany and United Kingdom. After his second period with Los Prisoneros, González formed with his third wife the duet "Los Updates" in 2007, only to disband in 2011 after an extensive Europe tour. ''Jorge González'' is the self-titled solo debut of former lead singer and songwriter of the Chilean band Los Prisioneros, recorded in 1992 and released in early 1993. It was produced by Gustavo Santaolalla with Aníbal Kerpel's collaboration. The 14 tracks featured in this album were written and composed by González. Due to the enormous success that the band had with ''Corazones'', González decided to follow that same musical line on his awaited solo debut. EMI-Odeon, who wanted this release to be a completely exportable product, launched a huge promotion campaign with the purpose of transforming it in Latin America's most important album of 1993.
