Sheikh Anwarul Haq
Chief Justice Sheikh Anwarul Haq ( Punjabi and ur, شیخ انوار الحق; 11 May 1917 – 3 March 1995), was a Pakistani jurist and an academic who served as the 9th Chief Justice of Pakistan from 23 September 1977 until resigning on 25 March 1981. He hanged Z.A Bhutto in a controversial murder case on April 4, 1977. Educated as an economist at the DAV College and the Punjab University in Lahore, he served as a civil servant of the Indian Civil Service as an appointee to lead the municipal governance in the British India in 1944. He continued serving in the civil service after the independence of Pakistan as a result of partition of British India in 1947 and subsequently elevated as a judge in the Sindh High Court in 1957. Kazi Anwarul Haque
Kazi Anwarul Haque (also spelled Huque) was a Bangladeshi police officer, bureaucrat, and technocrat minister. Early life Haque was born on 8 February 1909 in Dhaka, East Bengal, British Raj. His father was a notable writer, Kazi Imdadul Huq. In 1932 he graduated from Dhaka University and joined the Indian Police Service. Career Haque served in both East and West Bengal as superintendent of Police. He moved to East Pakistan after the partition of India. He served as the Superintendent of Police in Chittagong District. He was promoted in 1953 to Deputy Inspector General and in 1958 to Inspector General of Police. The government transferred him from the police service to the civil service. In 1961 he was promoted to Chief Secretary of the East Pakistan government. He was the first Bengali to become the Chief Secretary. Anwarul Iqbal (1 October 1950 – 15 January 2015) was an adviser of 2007–2009 interim caretaker government of Bangladesh. He was appointed as Local Government and Rural Development Minister & Labour Minister of the non-party interim caretaker government of Bangladesh on 17 January 2007 and remained in that post until elections were held two years later. Later he was given the charge of the Jute & Textile Ministry. He had the responsibility to head three ministries of the government of Bangladesh. M Anwarul Azim (13 December 1931 – 5 May 1971) was a Bengali industrial administrator who was killed in the Bangladesh Liberation war. He was awarded Independence Day Award in 2018 posthumously by the Government of Bangladesh. Early life Azim was born in Raninagar, Naogoan, East Bengal, British India on 13 December 1931. Anwarul Haque ( – 13 July 2017) was a Bangladesh Supreme Court justice who served as the Chairman of International Crimes Tribunal-1. Education Haque completed Secondary School Certificate (SSC) from Dhaka Government Muslim High School and Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) from Notre Dame College, Dhaka. He completed his bachelor's in law from the University of Dhaka. Career Haque started practicing law in 1980. Anwarul Kabir Talukdar (1 January 1944 – 10 May 2020) was a politician of Bangladesh Nationalist Party and Liberal Democratic Party. He was a Jatiya Sangsad member representing the Jamalpur-4 constituency and State Minister of Power. Career Talukdar served in Bangladesh Army and retired as a major general. Anwarul Azim is a Bangladesh Nationalist Party politician and the former Member of Parliament from Comilla-10. Shamsul Anwarul Huq (born 1944), also known as Kyaw Min, is a Rohingya academic, pro-democracy activist and former politician in Myanmar. He has also been a political prisoner.
