1982 ICC Trophy
The 1982 ICC Trophy was a limited-overs cricket tournament held in England between 16 June and 10 July 1982. It was the second ICC Trophy tournament to be staged, with matches between the 16 participating teams played over 60 overs a side and with white clothing and red balls. As in the 1979 tournament, all matches were played in the Midlands, though on this occasion the final was held at Grace Road, Leicester. The tournament served as the Cricket World Cup qualification process – Zimbabwe, who didn't play in the first tournament, defeated Bermuda in the final to qualify for the 1983 World Cup. Bad weather hampered the tournament throughout, with many games called off early or abandoned entirely because of rain; West Africa suffered most, seeing a result in only two of their seven group matches. Sri Lanka, who won the first tournament in 1979, had by now been promoted to Full Test and ODI status, and so did not take part, and automatically qualified for the World Cup. As ...

Colin Blades
Colin Francis Blades (born 13 August 1944) is a former West Indian cricketer who played both for Barbados in West Indian domestic cricket and for Bermuda internationally. He captained Bermuda at the 1982 ICC Trophy, where he was also the overall leading run-scorer. Blades was born in Saint Philip Parish, Barbados. He made his first-class debut in February 1964, playing for Barbados against British Guiana. After his debut, Blades did not feature for Barbados again until the 1968–69 Shell Shield season, when he played in all four of his team's matches.First-class matches played by Colin Blades

Derek Abraham
Derek Abraham (born 7 February 1953) is a former international cricketer who represented the Canadian national team in the 1980s. He was born in Dominica, and before emigrating to Canada represented the Windward Islands in West Indian domestic cricket. Abraham made his first-class debut for the Windwards in July 1973, against the Leeward Islands. He made another three first-class appearances over the following seasons, including against the touring Indians in February 1976. He also represented the team in the 1975–76 Gillette Cup, a limited-overs tournament. Winston Trott (born 10 August 1944 in Bermuda) is a former Bermudian cricketer. He was a right-handed batsman and a left-arm medium-fast bowler. He played one first-class match for Bermuda, against New Zealand in 1972, taking four wickets in New Zealand's only innings. Lionel Eustace Thomas (born 19 February 1946) is a former West Indian cricketer who played both for the Leeward Islands in West Indian domestic cricket and for Bermuda internationally. Thomas was born in Saint Kitts, then part of the British Leeward Islands colony. Winston Wiremu Reid (born 3 July 1988) is a New Zealand professional footballer who last played as a defender for club West Ham United. He captained the New Zealand national team. Adrian King (cricketer)
Adrian Anselm King (born 8 March 1952) is a former West Indian cricketer who played both for the Windward Islands in West Indian domestic cricket and for Bermuda internationally. King was born in Canouan, Saint Vincent. He made his first-class debut for the Windwards in July 1973, in a friendly match against the Leeward Islands. After his debut, King did not play at first-class level again for almost five years. He re-appeared in April 1978, against the touring Australians, and marked his return with a ten-wicket haul – 6/50 in the first innings and 4/34 in the second. Despite this performance, King never again played at first-class level, as later in the year he moved to Bermuda for his job as a policeman. After several years of club cricket on the island, King was selected to make his international debut for Bermuda at the 1982 ICC Trophy, played in England.
