Antoni Maria (born 21 March 1987) is a French rugby league footballer who plays as a for FC Lezignan in the Elite One Championship and France at international level. He previously played in France for the Saint-Gaudens Bears in the Elite One Championship, Toulouse Olympique French top flight and the Co-operative Championship and Saint-Esteve in the Elite One Championship. Maria then transferred to the Catalans Dragons and the Leigh Centurions in the Super League. He spent time on loan from the Dragons at Hull Kingston Rovers. Sainte-Livrade-sur-Lot (, literally ''Sainte-Livrade on Lot''; Languedocien: ''Senta Liurada'') is a commune in the Lot-et-Garonne department in south-western France. Geography Sainte-Livrade-sur-Lot is located along the banks of the river Lot. History Human inhabitation has been present around the area since the early Iron Age. The commune of Sainte-Livrade-sur-Lot itself was founded in 1289 as ''Sainte-Livrade d'Olt'', ''Olt'' being the Occitan and former name of the Lot River. The current name was adopted in December 1919. Despite its small size, Sainte-Livrade-sur-Lot is a multicultural town that has been host to numerous immigrant communities since the 20th century. The Castleford Tigers are a professional rugby league club in Castleford, West Yorkshire, England, that compete in the Super League, the top-level professional rugby league club competition in the Northern Hemisphere. The club have competed in the top division for the majority of their existence, having only been relegated twice in their history. They have won the Challenge Cup four times. Their most recent major trophy was the 1986 Challenge Cup. Castleford have a rivalry with neighbours Featherstone Rovers and Wakefield Trinity. 2015 European Cup
The 2015 European Cup was an international rugby league football tournament. The tournament took place between 16 October and 7 November in Wales, France, Scotland and Ireland. Scotland were the defending champions. Four teams competed in the 2015 event; Wales, Scotland, France and Ireland. Wales were crowned 2015 European Cup champions after winning all of their games putting them on top of the table with the maximum points tally of 6. After the tournament's last game there would be no European Cup tournament until the 2018 Championship due to the events occurring such as the 2016 Four Nations, 2017 World Cup qualifying competitions and the 2017 World Cup Finals. 2014 European Cup
The 2014 European Cup was an international rugby league football tournament. The tournament took place in England, Wales, France, Ireland and Scotland between 17 October and 2 November. It was announced beforehand that the winner of the tournament would qualify for the 2016 Four Nations, and also that if Ireland or Wales won tournament, they will automatically qualify for the 2017 Rugby League World Cup (due to the World Cup qualifying tournament taking place at the same time as the 2016 Four Nations). France and Scotland had already qualified for that tournament. The England Knights were defending Champions but they did not compete in this year's tournament.
