Antonio "Antonello" Venditti (born 8 March 1949) is an Italian singer-songwriter and pianist who became famous in the 1970s for the social themes of his songs. Biography Antonello Venditti was born in Rome, the son of Vincenzino Italo Venditti from Campolieto, in Molise, deputy-prefect in Rome, and Wanda Sicardi. He studied piano in his youth and made his debut in the music world in the early 1970s at the Folkstudio of Rome, together with singers like Francesco De Gregori and Giorgio Lo Cascio. In duo with the former he released in 1972 his first LP, ''Theorius Campus''. The LP scored little success, but Venditti at least made himself noted for the strength of his vocal qualities and for his attention to social issues, evidenced by pieces like "Sora Rosa", sung in Roman dialect. Also in dialect was "Roma Capoccia", a declaration of love for his city, which later became one of his most famous songs. Antonello Soro
Antonello Soro (born Antonio Giuseppe Soro, 26 November 1948) is an Italian politician from the Democratic Party. Biography Soro graduated in Medicine and Surgery at the University of Cagliari and began his career as a primary doctor. In the early 1970s, Soro started his political experience in the Christian Democracy youth movement and is elected Mayor of Nuoro in 1979, holding the seat for 18 months. Very close to Beniamino Andreatta, Soro took part in the birth of the Italian People's Party, with which he is elected to the Chamber of Deputies in 1994 and 1996. In 1997, Soro has been appointed the coordinator of the national secretariat of the PPI led by Franco Marini. Antonello Trombadori (April 24, 1917, Rome – January 19, 1993, Rome) was an Italian politician, art critic and journalist. Born in Rome into a family of artists (his father Francesco Trombadori was a painter) Trombadori lived a happy life in the Villa Strohl-Fern studio-home of his city, coming into contact with numerous intellectuals of the era. An intimate friend of Renato Guttuso and Corrado Cagli, he collaborated with them in his youth on a series of important magazines, including ''La Ruota'', '' Primato'', ''Città'', ''Corrente'' and ''Cinema''. Between the years of 1937 and 1940 he participated in a secret propaganda effort to convince Italian youth to abandon fascism. Antonello Savelli
Antonello Savelli (c. 1450 – April 1498) was an Italian condottiero. Biography A member of the Roman family of the Savelli, he was the son of Cristoforo Savelli and the uncle of Troilo. As a young he fought in the inner disputes between the baronial households of the city. In 1482, together with the Colonna, he fought against Girolamo Riario, nephew of Pope Sixtus IV, who excommunicated Antonello. His Lazio fiefs of Albano, Castel Savello, Castelgandolfo and Ariccia were besieged and captured by Paolo Orsini. Antonello replied by attacking the Orsini fief of Marino, but was defeated and wounded. The same feat repeated when he besieged Grottaferrata. Antonello Riva (born 28 February 1962) is an Italian former professional basketball player. At 1.96 m (6'5"), he played at the shooting guard and small forward positions.
