Anton Del Rosario
Anton Edward Quimson del Rosario (born 23 December 1981) is an American-born Filipino footballer who plays as a right back or centre-back for Maharlika Manila, of which he is also a co-founder and co-owner. He represented the Philippines national team from 2004 to 2014. Youth and college Since the age six, Del Rosario has had a passion for football which his older brother and his parents were influential figures. He then played for a local team in the Hillsborough, California. He eventually played football at Burlingame High School for four years and was part of the varsity team which was the first CCS Champion Team at the school. In 2004 that Varsity CCS Champion Team of 1996-1997 was inducted into the Burlingame High School Athletic Hall of Fame, which his older brother was also a part of. Burlingame, California
Burlingame () is a city in San Mateo County, California. It is located on the San Francisco Peninsula and has a significant shoreline on San Francisco Bay. The city is named after diplomat Anson Burlingame and is known for its numerous eucalyptus groves, high quality of life, walkable downtown area, and public school system. As of the 2020 census, the city population was 31,386. History Burlingame is situated on land previously owned by San Francisco-based merchant William Davis Merry Howard. Howard planted many eucalyptus trees on his property and retired to live on the land. Howard died in 1856 and the land was sold to William C. Ralston, a prominent banker. An own goal, also called a self goal, is where a player performs actions that result in them or their team scoring a goal on themselves, often resulting in a point for the opposing team, such as when a football player kicks a ball into their own net or goal, awarding the other team a point. 2010 AFF Suzuki Cup Qualification
The 2010 AFF Championship qualification tournament was held in Vientiane, Laos from 22 to 26 October 2010 for the five lower-ranked teams in Southeast Asia. All teams played in a round-robin tournament format with the winner and runner-up qualifying for the final tournament. However, the qualification was held without Brunei national football team, Brunei, due to FIFA's continued suspension of the Football Association of Brunei Darussalam, thus barring them from the competition. The Panaad Stadium (), also sometimes spelled as Pana-ad, named after the park where the stadium is situated in, is a multi-purpose stadium in Barangay Mansilingan, Bacolod, Philippines. Panaad hosted various international sporting events particularly football when Bacolod co-hosted the 2005 Southeast Asian Games and the 2012 AFC Challenge Cup qualification against Mongolia. Myanmar National Football Team
