''Metro'' (russian: Метро) is a 2013 Russian disaster film directed by Anton Megerdichev. It is based on the 2005 novel of the same name by Dmitry Safonov. Plot In Moscow Metro, in the tunnel's station Park Kultury, built in 1935, is starting to fail. One tunnel night crawler, Sergeitch (Sergey Sosnowski), sees a leak in the tunnel where it runs under the Moscow River and informs the assistant station master (Michael Fateev), who mocks the old man for worrying about it, saying it's only groundwater. ''Land of Legends'' (russian: Сердце Пармы, lit=''Heart of Parma'') is a 2022 Russian epic historical fantasy film directed by Anton Megerdichev. It is an adaptation of the historical novel ''Heart of Parma'' ( ru) written by Alexei Ivanov and published in 2003. The book is based on the events of the 15th century and talks about the conquest of Great Perm by Moscow. The film stars Aleksandr Kuznetsov, Yevgeny Mironov, Fyodor Bondarchuk, Elena Erbakova, Sergei Puskepalis, and Aleksey Rozin joining the cast. Principal photography began in August 2019 and ended in February 2020, the film was shot on the territory of the Perm Krai, and the Moscow Oblast were selected. Unique scenery were built on the banks of the Usva and Kosva rivers: wooden and stone cities, fortresses, stilt houses. It was released in wide release on October 6, 2022, by Central Partnership. Leonid Gennadyevich Parfyonov (russian: Леонид Геннадьевич Парфёнов, born January 26, 1960, in Cherepovets, Vologda Oblast) is a Russian journalist, news presenter, TV producer and author of many documentary TV shows. Parfyonov is known for his studio work and productions for the NTV (of which he was Producer General between 1997 and 1999). From December 3, 2004, until December 20, 2007, he was an editor-in-chief of ''Russky Newsweek'', Russian edition of ''Newsweek''. From 2012 until 2018, Parfyonov was a member of Presidential Council for Civil Society and Human Rights.
