Anton Jeyanathan
Mariyampillai Antony Jeyanathan ( ta, மரியம்பிள்ளை அன்ரனி ஜெகநாதன்; 11 May 1948 – 1 October 2016) was a Sri Lankan Tamil teacher, politician and provincial councillor. Jeyanathan was born on 11 May 1948. He was the son of Mariyampillai and Mary Theresa. He was educated at Mullaitivu Maha Vidyalayam. Jeyanathan was a teacher and served as a school principal before becoming a director of education. Jeyanathan contested the 2013 provincial council election as one of the Tamil National Alliance's candidates in Mullaitivu District and was elected to the Northern Provincial Council. After the election he was appointed to assist the Chief Minister on social services and rehabilitation. He took his oath as provincial councillor in front of Chief Minister C. V. Dead on Scene ('' 'DOS' '') Found dead before first responders get on scene and no medical treatment was given. Dead on arrival (DOA), also dead in the field and brought in dead (BID), are terms which indicate that a patient was found to be already clinically dead upon the arrival of professional medical assistance, often in the form of first responders such as emergency medical technicians, paramedics, firefighters, or police. Mullaitivu Hospital
Mullaitivu Hospital is a government hospital in Mullaitivu, Sri Lanka. It is the leading hospital in Mullaitivu District and is controlled by the provincial government in Jaffna. As of 2010 it had 256 beds. The hospital is sometimes called Mullaitivu District General Hospital or Mullaitivu District Hospital. This hospital has had a troubled past. It was once very overcrowded, according to information from Parliamentary debates in 1961. When the December 26, 2004, tsunami hit the area, this hospital had 30 beds. The hospital was from the coast and was completely surrounded by water for a time. After the tsunami hit, a number of nurses and staff had lost their homes and had to sleep in hospital offices or in tents some distance from the hospital. The Red Cross helped repair the hospital and provided tents to serve as temporary shelter for hospital staff. The tents were set up adjacent to the hospital.
