Antioch High School
Antioch High School is a public high school located in Antioch, California, United States. It is located at 700 West 18th Street between G and L streets. It is a comprehensive high school for grades 9-12. There are about 120 teachers, and 20 maintenance and office staff. The administration consists of a principal and four vice principals. Departments at the school include English; mathematics; physical, earth, and life sciences; social studies; physical education; vocal and instrumental music; video, photographic, sculpted, painted and drawn arts; foreign languages; health and sports medicine; auto and wood shop; and engineering. History AHS opened in Antioch, California in 1955. It is the second high school in Antioch, replacing the old high school (which is now the city museum). Alex Anthony Sanchez (born April 8, 1966) is an American former Major League Baseball (MLB) pitcher who played for the Toronto Blue Jays in 1989. Early life Sanchez was born in Concord, California and attended Antioch High School. In high school, he was named A-East Bay and All-Northern California for two years. ''USA Today'' named Sanchez one of the top 25 pro prospects, and he was drafted by the Chicago Cubs out of high school. Charles Duane Putnam (born September 5, 1928) is a former American football offensive guard who spent ten seasons in the National Football League (NFL) playing for the Los Angeles Rams, Dallas Cowboys, and the Cleveland Browns. After retiring, he was the offensive line coach for the Atlanta Falcons, Philadelphia Eagles and the St. Louis Cardinals. Ronald David Pritchard (born April 2, 1947) is a former American football linebacker and professional wrestler. Pritchard played nine seasons with the Houston Oilers and the Cincinnati Bengals, first in the American Football League, then in the National Football League.
