Antima Teerpu (1988 Film)
Antima Teerpu () is a 1988 Indian Telugu-language film directed by Joshiy. It was a remake of the director's own Malayalam film, ''New Delhi'', which was loosely based on the novel, ''The Almighty'', written by Irving Wallace. It is the only Telugu film to be entirely shot in Delhi. Krishnam Raju won the Filmfare Award for Best Actor – Telugu for this film. Joshiy
Joshiy (born 18 July 1952) is an Indian film director and producer from Varkala in Kerala who works predominantly in the Malayalam film industry. He made his debut with ''Tiger Salim'' (1978) and has directed over 80 films. He has also directed a few Hindi, Tamil, Telugu and Kannada films. In the beginning of his career, he received national fame when he directed ''Dharm Aur Qanoon'' (1984) starring Rajesh Khanna and Dharmendra, with Khanna in double roles. Personal life Joshiy is married to Sindhu. The couple have a son, Abhilash, and a daughter, Aishwarya, who died in a car accident in Chennai in July 2011. Abhilash is married to Varsha. ''Salem Vishnu'' is a 1990 Tamil-language action film written, produced and directed by Thiagarajan in his directorial debut. The film stars Thiagarajan and Rupini. It had musical score by Sangeetha Rajan and was released on 16 February 1990. The film shows the prequel story of the character Salem Vishnu from the Malayalam film ''New Delhi''. Plot Vishnu (Thiagarajan) was a clever student, but he cannot tolerate cheating at the school exam, and beats up the professor ( M. S.
