Anthony Maroon
Anthony Maroon is a Sydney-born radio personality at Triple M Sydney as an NRL commentator. Career Maroon graduated from Max Rowley's Media Academy in 1989. His first on-air radio job was at station 2NZ in Inverell, where he worked on the weekend breakfast show, and later, on weekday breakfast. He left 2NZ in November 1990 to become the evening drive announcer at 2GN in Goulburn. Maroon's third station was i98FM in Wollongong, where he commenced on the late-evening shift, but soon after was promoted to the breakfast show. He also hosted the football programme on the local television channel, WIN TV. A few years later, he took a job doing late evenings at Triple M Sydney. In January 2008, Maroon took on the role of anchor for the breakfast radio show ''The Shebang'', and commentator of '' Triple M's Monday Night Football'' alongside Phil Gould and Jimmy Smith. Triple M Sydney (callsign 2MMM) is a radio station broadcasting in Sydney, Australia. Triple M Sydney is part of Southern Cross Austereo's Triple M network and broadcasts on the 104.9 MHz frequency. History The Early Days Triple M commenced broadcasting on 2 August 1980. Together with then rival station 2Day FM, it was one of the first two commercial FM radio stations in Sydney. Cairns (, ) is a city in Queensland, Australia, on the tropical north east coast of Far North Queensland. Phillip Ronald Gould (born 24 January 1958), also nicknamed "Gus", is an Australian rugby league broadcaster, journalist, administrator and formerly a player and coach.
