Anthony Forde (darts Player)
Anthony Forde (born July 6, 1962) is a Barbadian former professional darts player. Career Forde won the 2004 Caribbean and South American Masters which earned him a place in the 2005 PDC World Darts Championship, where he lost in the first round to John Verwey. He won the tournament again in 2007, which earned him a place in the 2008 PDC World Darts Championship. He defeated Japan's Akihiro Nagakawa in the preliminary round and faced reigning champion Raymond van Barneveld in the first round where he lost 3-0. Forde was denied a third visit to the World Championship after losing in the final of the 2009 Caribbean and South American Masters to 2003 champion Norman Madhoo of Guyana. Forde finished as the runner-up in the 2018 WDF Americas Cup, losing to Robin Albury 1–4. Forde quit the PDC in 2018. Sun Is Shining (Bob Marley And The Wailers Song)
"Sun Is Shining" is a song by Jamaican reggae band Bob Marley & the Wailers, first appearing on the Lee Perry-produced album ''Soul Revolution Part II'' in 1971, and then on African Herbsman in 1973. Marley later re-recorded the song for his 1978 album ''Kaya''. In 1999, a remix by "Bob Marley vs. Funkstar De Luxe" reached number one on the US Hot Dance Music/Club Play chart and number three on the UK Singles Chart. Although having become one of the most popular Marley songs, "Sun Is Shining" used to be a fairly unknown and seldom-performed number during Marley's lifetime. 2005 PDC World Darts Championship
The 2005 Ladbrokes.com World Darts Championship was the 12th edition of the PDC World Darts Championship, and was held at the Circus Tavern, Purfleet taking place between 26 December 2004 and 3 January 2005. Phil Taylor went on to clinch his 12th World Championship (10 in the PDC, 2 in the BDO) with a 7–4 final victory over Mark Dudbridge. The tournament format remained the same as the previous year, with a preliminary round featuring eight international players against eight qualifiers from the Professional Dart Players Association (PDPA) qualifying tournament. The winners were then to meet the players ranked between 25 and 32 in the PDC world rankings. John Verwey
John Verwey (born July 27, 1957), nicknamed The Walrus, is a Canadian retired professional darts player who currently in Professional Darts Corporation and British Darts Organisation tournaments. During a 25-year career, he has enjoyed numerous wins competing in his native Ontario, Canada, going on to represent the province at the national level on four occasions. In 2005, Verwey earned a spot in the PDC World Darts Championship where he lost in the third round to Colin Lloyd. Career Verwey honed his innate darts talent most of his youth but hadn't yet turned professional until around the mid-nineties, where he met with some success for the first time at the Canada National Championships. The 2008 Ladbrokes.com World Darts Championship was the 15th World Championship organised by the Professional Darts Corporation since it separated from the British Darts Organisation. The event took place between 17 December 2007 and 1 January 2008 at the Alexandra Palace, London, England. John Part won his third World Championship, beating the qualifier Kirk Shepherd 7–2 in the final. Akihiro Nagakawa
is a Japanese former professional darts player. Career Nagakawa qualified for the 2008 PDC World Darts Championship, losing in the preliminary round to Anthony Forde. He qualified again for the 2009 PDC World Darts Championship, but lost again in the preliminary round, this time losing to Warren French. The match with French is widely considered to be the worst match ever in the history of either the PDC or BDO World Championships, where both players averaged 54. Raymond Van Barneveld
Raymond van Barneveld (born 20 April 1967) is a Dutch professional darts player. Nicknamed Barney, although originally known as The Man, he is one of the most successful darts players in history. Norman Madhoo (born April 9, 1964) is a Guyanese professional darts player. He is a three-time winner of the Caribbean and South American Masters, claiming the titles in 2003, 2009 and 2010. Madhoo first qualified for the PDC World Darts Championship in 2004, losing in the first round to Steve Smith. He qualified again in 2010, losing to Canada's Ken MacNeil by 4 legs to 2 in the preliminary round.
