Anthony J. DeLuca (born July 25, 1970) is a member of the Illinois House of Representatives who has represented the 80th district since his appointment in March 2009 to succeed George Scully, who was appointed to the Illinois Circuit Court of Cook County. The Southland based district includes all or parts of Homewood, Flossmoor, Chicago Heights, Park Forest, South Chicago Heights, University Park, Frankfort, Manhattan and Olympia Fields, Manhattan, Frankfort, Mokena, New Lenox, Glenwood, Symerton, Illinois. Before being appointed to that position, he served as mayor of Chicago Heights, Illinois, since 2003. Swirlies is an American indie rock band formed in Boston in 1990. Since their first records in the early 1990s, the band has released studio and home recordings that blend shoegaze and twee pop with electronica and lo-fi music. Swirlies released five studio albums between 1993 and 2003. The band have since assembled to tour occasionally with a roster of musicians led by founding guitarist/songwriter Damon Tutunjian. Unsane is an American noise rock trio that was formed in New York City in 1988. Its music touches on elements of hardcore punk and metal. The writer Patrick Kennedy wrote, "While developing the blueprint for noise-metal bands to follow, Unsane cut a remarkable swath through underground music, inspiring a devoted, cult-like following around the world." Negative Approach
Negative Approach is an American hardcore punk band, formed in Detroit, Michigan in 1981. The band is considered among the pioneers of hardcore punk, particularly in the Midwest region. Like most hardcore bands, Negative Approach was little known in its day outside of its hometown. It is now idolized in the Detroit rock underground and the punk subculture, considered to be one of the elite bands of the "old school" era, and continues to be influential. Anthony M. DeLuca Sr. (June 3, 1937 – October 9, 2022) was an American politician of the Democratic Party. A longtime resident of the Pittsburgh suburb of Penn Hills, he was a member of the Pennsylvania House of Representatives for the 32nd District from 1983 until his death. Before being elected to the state legislature, he served on the Penn Hills City Council and was the town's deputy mayor. Early life DeLuca was born on June 3, 1937, in the East Liberty neighborhood of Pittsburgh. He graduated from Westinghouse High School and Community College of Allegheny County. DeLuca became a co-owner of DeLuca's Market in East Liberty, which was opened by his father. DeLuca moved to Penn Hills in 1952.
