Anthony Agbo
Anthony O. Agbo was elected Senator for the Ebonyi North constituency of Ebonyi State, Nigeria, taking office on 29 May 2007. He is a member of the People's Democratic Party (PDP). Agbo was educated at Ebonyi State University and the University of Nigeria, Nsukka, graduating in 1988. He was elected to the Enugu State House Of Assembly (before Ebonyi state was formed from part of Enugu), and was appointed Speaker. Later he was Commissioner of Finance (1999–2003) and Commissioner of Public Utilities (2003–2005) for Ebonyi State. Outside his political career, Agbo is a poet who has published his work in several journals and is a sponsor of Nigerian literature. Ebonyi State
Ebonyi State ( ig, Ȯra Ebonyi) is a state in the South-East geopolitical zone of Nigeria, bordered to the north and northeast by Benue State, Enugu State to the west, Cross River State to the east and southeast, and Abia State to the southwest. Named for the Abonyi (Aboine) River—a large part of which is in the state's south—Ebonyi State was formed from parts of Abia and Enugu state in 1996 and has its capital as Abakaliki. The University of Nigeria, commonly referred to as UNN, is a federal university located in Nsukka, Enugu State, Eastern part of Nigeria. Founded by Nnamdi Azikiwe in 1955 and formally opened on 7 October 1960, the University of Nigeria has three campuses in Enugu State– Nsukka, Enugu, and Ituku-Ozalla – and the Aba campus in Abia State. Nsukka is a town and a Local Government Area in Enugu State, Nigeria. Nsukka shares a common border as a town with Edem, Opi (archaeological site), Ede-Oballa, and Obimo. Nasir Ahmad El-Rufai (born 16 February 1960) is a Nigerian politician who is the Governor of Kaduna State, in office since 2015. He was the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory from 2003 to 2007; and the director of the Bureau of Public Enterprises. He is a founding member of the ruling All Progressives Congress.
