''Anokhi Ada'' (Hindi: अनोखी अदा, ''Unique Style'') is a 1948 romantic Hindi film directed by Mehboob Khan. The story was by Zia Sarhadi, with screenplay and dialogue by Agha Jani Kashmiri. The music composer was Naushad, assisted by Ghulam Mohammed and the lyricists were Shakeel Badayuni and Anjum Pilibhiti. The director of photography was Faredoon Irani. It was produced under the Mehboob Productions banner and starred Naseem Banu, Surendra, Prem Adib, Zeb Qureshi, Reehan, Pratima Devi and Cuckoo. The story was a romantic triangle involving Surendra and Prem Adib as the two men in love with Naseem Banu, who played the role of a woman suffering from amnesia. Cuckoo Moray, also credited as Cuckoo or Cukoo (1928 – 30 September 1981), was an Anglo-Indian dancer and actress in Indian cinema. Cuckoo was the queen of film dancing in Hindi cinema of the 1940s and 1950s. Though unfamiliar in name, she was known as the "rubber girl" of Hindi cinema and her talent made cabaret dancing a must in the Bollywood films during the 1940s and 1950s. Anmol Ghadi (English translation: Precious Watch ) is a 1946 Indian drama film directed by Mehboob Khan, starring Surendra, Suraiya and Noor Jehan. The film was a musical hit and still remembered for its music by Naushad, with hits like "Aawaaz De Kahaan Hai", "Jawaan Hai Mohabbat Haseen Hai Zamana" and "Mere Bachpan Ke Saathi Mujhe Bhool Na Jaana". Mukesh Chand Mathur (22 July 1923 – 27 August 1976), better known mononymously as Mukesh, was an Indian playback singer. Bhudo Advani (17 August 1905 – 25 July 1985) was an Indian character actor and comedian. He started his acting career in theatre with the notion of spreading awareness on social issues.
