Annapurna College of Film and Media is a Film School based in Hyderabad, Hyderabad, India. It's India's first private, non-profit media school. The institute was founded by the Akkineni family, including Nagarjuna (actor), Nagarjuna and Akkineni Nageswara Rao. ACFM offers courses in acting, directing, cinematography, editing, writing and producing. Campus ACFM is on the grounds of an Annapurna Studio. Akkineni Nageswara Rao
Akkineni Nageswara Rao (20 September 1923 – 22 January 2014), widely known as ANR, was an Indian actor and producer, known for his works majorly in Telugu cinema. He starred in many landmark films in his seventy five-year career, and became one of the most prominent figures of Telugu cinema. Nageswara Rao received seven state Nandi Awards, and five Filmfare Awards South. Annapurna Studios is an Indian film production company, founded in 1976 by the actor Akkineni Nageswara Rao (ANR).
