Annai Kaligambal
''Annai Kaligambal'' is an Indian 2003 bilingual devotional film written and directed by Rama Narayanan. The film featured Ramya Krishnan in the title role alongside Anu Prabhakar and Livingston, while Jayanthi plays a supporting role. The film, which had music composed by Deva, released in January 2003. The film was simultaneously shot in Tamil and Kannada, with the latter titled as ''Shri Kalikamba'', with Vinod Alva and Tennis Krishna replacing Livingston and Vennira Aadai Moorthy respectively. Rama Narayanan
Rama Narayanan (3 April 1949 – 22 June 2014) was an Indian film director and producer. In the 1980s, he was known as a director who specialized in shooting commercial films in which animals played vital roles, while in the 1990s, several of his films were based on Hindu devotional subjects. He has also headed the Tamil Film Producers Council (TFPC) for three consecutive elections, before resigning in 2011. He died on 22 June 2014 at a Singapore hospital due to kidney-related ailments. Career Narayanan came to Chennai intending to become a songwriter, but he became a dialogue writer for films. He and his friend M. A. Khaja started to write dialogues together under the pen name Ram-Rahim. In 1976, Narayanan wrote his first story, screenplay and dialogue for the film ''Aasai Arubadhu Naal''. Babloo Prithiveeraj (born 29 November 1965) is an Indian actor, who has appeared in Tamil, Telugu and Kannada language films. Career Prithveeraj made his acting debut as a child artiste and featured in films including ''Naan Vazhavaippen'' (1979), under the stage name of Babloo. He made a comeback as an actor in the 1980s by acting in some low budget Malayalam movies before starring in ''Vaaname Ellai'' directed by K.Balachander. Manikka Vinayagam (10 December 1943 – 26 December 2021) was an Indian playback singer and actor. He sang for South Indian language films and acted in several Tamil films as a character artist. He was the son of the dancer Vazhuvoor B. Ramiah Pillai. His uncle and music guru was the singer C. S. Jayaraman. Biography Vinayagam was born on 10 December 1943 in Mayiladuthurai in the then Madras Presidency. His father Vazhuvoor B. Ramiah Pillai was a Bharatanatyam dancer while his uncle C. S.
