Annabel Dimmock
Annabel Dimmock (born 5 October 1996) is an English professional golfer and Ladies European Tour player. She won the 2019 Jabra Ladies Open. Amateur career Dimmock had a successful amateur career. In 2014, she won the Helen Holm Scottish Women's Open Championship, and the Sunningdale Foursomes with Steven Brown. She finished runner-up at the Welsh Women's Open Stroke Play Championship and the Spanish International Ladies Amateur Championship. Dimmock was a member of the England Golf National Girl's squad and represented Europe in the 2014 Junior Ryder Cup, Great Britain and Ireland in the 2014 Curtis Cup, and Great Britain at the 2014 Summer Youth Olympics. 2019 Evian Championship
The 2019 Evian Championship was played 25–28 July at the Evian Resort Golf Club in Évian-les-Bains, France. It was the 26th Evian Championship (the first 20 played as the Evian Masters), and the seventh as a major championship on the LPGA Tour. The event was televised by Golf Channel and NBC Sports in the United States and Sky Sports in the United Kingdom. Ko Jin-young won her second major of the year by two strokes over Shanshan Feng and Kim Hyo-joo. Earlier in the year, she won the 2019 ANA Inspiration. Curtis Cup
The Curtis Cup is the best known team trophy for women amateur golfers, awarded in the biennial Curtis Cup Match. It is co-organised by the United States Golf Association and The R&A and is contested by teams representing the United States and "Great Britain and Ireland". The same two teams originally contested the Ryder Cup, but unlike that competition, the Curtis Cup has not widened the Great Britain and Ireland team to include all Europeans (nor has the analogous event for amateur men, the Walker Cup). Women's Home Internationals
The Women's Home Internationals were an amateur team golf championship for women contested between the four Home Nations of England, Scotland, Wales and Ireland, where Ireland was represented by the whole island of Ireland on an All-Ireland basis. After the Ladies' Golf Union, the former governing body for women's golf in Great Britain and Ireland, merged into The R&A in 2016, The R&A took over organisation of the event. The match was played annually and the venue cycled between the four nations. In 2022 the match was replaced by a combined Women's and Men's Home Internationals. The event started in 1905 when Mr. T. The Women's Open (originally known as the Women's British Open, and still widely referred to by that name outside the UK) is a women's major golf championships, major championship in Professional golf tours#Women's tours, women's professional golf. The Evian Championship
The Evian Championship, currently known for sponsorship reasons as The Amundi Evian Championship, is a women's professional golf tournament in France, played at the Evian Resort Golf Club in Évian-les-Bains. It was originally held in June, moved to July in 2003, and moved again to September in 2013. It returned to a July date in 2019. Founded in 1994 on the Ladies European Tour (LET) as the Evian Masters, it is one of two major championships on the LET. Not originally a major on the LPGA Tour, it became an LPGA co-sanctioned event in 2000, which included a significant increase in purse size. The Women's PGA Championship (branded as the KPMG Women's PGA Championship for sponsorship reasons) is a women's professional golf tournament. First held in 1955, it is one of five majors on the LPGA Tour. It is not recognized as a major by the Ladies European Tour, which does not recognize any of the three majors played in the United States. The Chevron Championship is a professional women's golf tournament. An event on the LPGA Tour, it is one of the tour's five major championships, and has traditionally been the first of the season since its elevation to major status in 1983. Founded in 1972 by singer and actress Dinah Shore and Colgate-Palmolive chairman David Foster, it was played at the Mission Hills Country Club in Rancho Mirage, California from its inception through 2022. The 2021 Ladies European Tour was a series of golf tournaments for elite female golfers from around the world. The tournaments were sanctioned by the Ladies European Tour (LET). Klára Davidson Spilková (born 15 December 1994) is a Czech professional golfer who plays on the Ladies European Tour (LET). She won the 2017 Lalla Meryem Cup and the 2022 Women's Irish Open. Early life and amateur career Spilková had a successful amateur career after she was introcued to golf by her older brother Lukas at the age of four. She won the European Young Masters in 2009, and won both the Czech Women's Amateur and the German Girls Open back to back in 2009 and 2010. In 2010 she won the Austrian Women's Amateur.
