Ankit Babu Adhikari
Ankit Babu Adhikari ( ne, अंकित बाबु अधिकारी) is a musician, singer and lyricist from Kathmandu, known from his appearance as top-8 finalist in Nepali Tara season 3. Music Ankit started his musical career by composing and performing songs for a post-modern play ''Coma; A Political Sex'' staged at Shilpee Theatre, Kathmandu in 2014. His another major milestone includes his solo concert organised in tribute to Narayan Gopal. In 2014-15 he made it to Nepali Tara after which he gained wider audience throughout Nepal and abroad. His first original release is ''Ram Naam'', a song that questions the physical existence of God; that was critically acclaimed in Nepal. He continued his experiment in a 2016 release ''Nau Futey Bhoot'' (9 ft. ghost), a song about Indian Blockade in Nepal, for which the Japan-based magazine The Diplomat named him ''Nepal's Singing Storyteller''. Dang District ( ne, दाङ जिल्ला, ) is the district of Lumbini Province located in the Inner Terai of midwestern Nepal. Nepali Tara
Nepali Tara ( Nepali: नेपाली तारा, Nepal Star) is a Nepali reality television series that debuted on NTV in 2005. The show is a talent contest to decide the best new singer in Nepal based on viewer voting and participation. It's loosely based on British TV series Pop Idol, but is independently produced and is not a licensed adaptation. The first season was conceived by Brazesh Khanal and executed by Neelbarahi Films Studio 4, as the production house, aired in Nepal television. Narayan Gopal
Narayan Gopal Gurubacharya ( ne, नारायणगोपाल गुरबाचार्य) (4 October 1939 – 5 December 1990), known professionally as Narayan Gopal and N. Gopal was a prominent popular singer and composer of Nepali music. Regarded one of the most significant cultural icons in Nepal, he is referred as "Swar Samrat" ( Nepali: स्वर सम्राट, meaning: Emperor of Voice) in Nepal. He is also known as "King of Tragedy" owing to his numerous tragedy songs due to forbidden love with then queen of Nepal . He also sang in Nepal Bhasa. Govinda (), also rendered Govind and Gobind, is an epithet of Vishnu which is also used for his avatars such as Krishna. The name appears as the 187th and the 539th name of Vishnu in '' Vishnu Sahasranama''. The name is also popularly addressed to Krishna, referring to his youthful activity as a cowherd boy. Bipul Chettri is an Indian singer-songwriter who sings in the Nepali language and plays Himalayan folk music with a contemporary touch.
