Anise Arsalon Khoshmashrab (born 20 February 1985) is an Australian "recording artist", record producer, and songwriter known by their stage name Anise K. In 2012 they was signed to Sony Music Australia, and later in 2014 signed with Cobalt Music (formerly Universal Music Group Greece) and Warner Music Group. 1985–2011: Early life and career beginnings Anise K was born on 20 February 1985 in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia, to parents Behzad and Pari Khoshmashrab, followers of the Baháʼí Faith. From a young age, Anise demonstrated a keen sense and interest for music. They played alongside their father, Behzad Khoshmashrab, in many community events and fundraisers. "Walking on Air" is a song recorded by the Australian recording artist and producer Anise K. The song originally features guest vocals from the American rapper Snoop Dogg and the American singer Bella Blue. In January 2014 it was re-released worldwide with additional vocals by Lance Bass and specially for Belgium featuring Lance Bass and Ian Thomas produced by former Michael Jackson producer Marc Schaffel. Background and composition "Walking on Air" was written by Anise K with KC Porter and rap parts by Snoop Dogg, while production was handled by Anise K, KC Porter and Seth Johnson. The song was originally produced with the intention of having Rihanna feature as the lead singer. Due to scheduling issues, Anise had to search for an alternative artist. Afrobeats
Afrobeats (not to be confused with Afrobeat or Afroswing), or Afro-pop or Afro-fusion (or Afropop or Afrofusion), is an umbrella term to describe popular music from West Africa and the diaspora that initially developed in Nigeria, Ghana, and the UK in the 2000s and 2010s. Afrobeats is less of a style per se, and more of a descriptor for the fusion of sounds flowing out of Ghana and Nigeria. Genres such as hiplife, jùjú music, highlife and naija beats, among others, were amalgamated under the 'Afrobeats' umbrella. Afrobeats is primarily produced in Lagos, Accra, and London. Ayoola Oladapo Agboola also known as KDDO or Kiddominant is a Nigerian recording producer, songwriter, and artist. He's best known for producing Afrobeats longest charting billboard single "Fall" by Davido, which peaked on US R&B/Hip-Hop Airplay chart at number 13 and US Hot R&B Songs chart at number 25 on Billboard.
