Animutation
Animutation or fanimutation is a form of web-based computer animation, typically created in Adobe Flash and characterized by unpredictable montages of pop-culture images set to music, often in a language foreign to the intended viewers. It is not to be confused with manual collage animation (e.g., the work of Stan Vanderbeek and Terry Gilliam), which predates the Internet. History Animutation was popularized by Neil Cicierega. Cicierega claims to have been inspired by several sources, including bizarre Japanese commercials and Martin Holmström's "Hatten är din" Soramimi-style video made for the "Habbeetik" song by Azar Habib. The term animutation is a portmanteau of ''animation'' and ''mutation'' and was popularized in 2001 through Cicierega's flash animations such as ''Japanese Pokerap'' and ''Hyakugojyuuichi!!'', which featured the credits music from older episodes of Pokémon. Colin Mochrie
Colin Andrew Mochrie (; born November 30, 1957) is a Scottish-born Canadian actor, writer, producer and improvisational comedian, best known for his appearances on the British and US versions of the improvisational TV show ''Whose Line Is It Anyway?'' Mochrie honed his comedic talents with Vancouver's TheatreSports League and Toronto's Second City theatre. He has appeared in dozens of television series and films, as well as theatrical shows. ''Hatten är din'' (Swedish for "The hat is yours") is an Internet meme from 2000. It is a Flash animation featuring the music of Lebanese musician Azar Habib; the name of the song playing is "Miin Ma Kenti". The animation prominently features a hat, Swedish text, and an assortment of bizarre imagery. Origin In 1981, Habib recorded "Miin Ma Kenti" (Whoever you are), also known as "Habbaytek"/"Habbeetik" (I Loved You, or I Fell In Love With You) in Arabic for his ''Ya Malaki'' album; the tape eventually made its way to Sweden.
