Anime International Company
, often abbreviated as AIC is a Japanese animation studio founded on June 15, 1982 and located in Nerima, Tokyo, Japan. On December 10, 2015, AIC RIGHTS Co., Ltd was established through a company split, in which AIC Rights received the transfer of some of the copyrights owned by Anime International Company. Their notable works include series such as '' Tenchi Muyo!'', ''Bubblegum Crisis'', ''El Hazard'', and several adaptations of the manga '' Oh My Goddess!''. Kabushiki Gaisha
A or ''kabushiki kaisha'', commonly abbreviated K.K. or KK, is a type of defined under the Companies Act of Japan. The term is often translated as "stock company", " joint-stock company" or "stock corporation". A remake is a film, television series, video game, song or similar form of entertainment that is based upon and retells the story of an earlier production in the same medium—e.g., a "new version of an existing film". A remake tells the same story as the original but uses a different cast, and may alter the theme or change the story's setting. ''Burn-Up Excess'' is a Japanese anime television series directed by Shinichiro Kimura and animated by Magic Bus. It aired from 1997 to 1998 for a total of 13 episodes. Toshiki Hirano
is a Japanese anime director, animator, and character designer. His wife is a fellow animator and manga artist Narumi Kakinouchi. Some of his works have appeared in the adult manga magazine '' Lemon People''. He is representative of Toshiki Hirano Office Ltd. Career While still a student at Tokyo Designer Gakuin College, Hirano began drawing in-betweens for Toei Doga. Narumi Kakinouchi
is a female Japanese manga artist, illustrator, animator, director, character designer, and an animation director. Biography Kakinouchi was born in Osaka Prefecture, Japan. After graduating from high school, she began working at Studio Beebo under the direction of Tomonori Kogawa, then moving on to Studio Io, Artland, AIC and other studios where she was an animator, designer, and animation director on many TV series and OVAs. Battle Athletes
is a Japanese franchise which includes an OVA series animated by AIC, a manga by Yūki Nakano, and a 26-episode anime television series that aired on TV Tokyo from October 1997 to March 1998. In serial fiction, the term "reboot" signifies a new start to an established fictional universe, work, or series. A reboot discards continuity to re-create its characters, plotlines and backstory from the beginning. It has been described as a way to "rebrand" or "restart an entertainment universe that has already been established". Another definition of a reboot is a remake which is part of an established film series or other media franchise. is a Japanese original video animation (OVA) series produced by AIC and Pioneer LDC, and released from 1995 to 1997 as three videos. It features character Sasami from the ''Tenchi Muyo!'' series as a magical girl, and is noted for recasting the ''Tenchi Muyo!'' characters in new roles. It has been dubbed into English by Pioneer USA. It also spawned two television series - ''Magical Project S'', and '' Sasami: Magical Girls Club''.
