Anime Current
Anime Current was an anime television block running on G4 Canada, in which one series is broadcast from beginning to end. It was similar to Anime Unleashed, a former programming block on the American version of G4. It premiered on 6 November 2006 with R.O.D the TV. On 1 January 2007, G4techTV and Geneon Entertainment announced an exclusive deal in which Geneon titles would air on Anime Current. Previously, Geneon's first (and only) title that aired in Canada was ''Samurai Champloo'' on Razer's Kamikaze block. G4 (Canada)
G4 was a Canadian English-language specialty television channel owned by Rogers Media. The name was licensed from NBCUniversal, whose parent company Comcast formerly owned a minority stake in the channel. Based on the U.S subscription networks TechTV and G4, the channel was originally focused on technology-themed programming. Rogers has been announced on most television service providers on July 5, 2017 that G4 will shut down on August 31, 2017, ending its 16 year run of the G4 brand. Gad Guard
is a 26-episode anime television series created by animation director and screenwriter Hiroshi Nishikiori, manga artist and mechanical designer Yoshitsune Izuna, and Gonzo (company), Gonzo. Produced by Media Factory, GDH, IMAGICA Imageworks, Hakuhodo, Amber Film Works, and Fuji Television, the series was broadcast across Japan by the anime satellite television network Animax, and the terrestrial television, terrestrial Fuji TV network. It has been licensed for North American distribution by Geneon Entertainment, and also aired on Anime Unleashed on G4 in 2005. Geneon
(abbreviated as NBCUEJ) is a Japanese music, anime, and home entertainment production and distribution enterprise headquartered in Akasaka, Tokyo, Akasaka, Minato, Tokyo, Minato, Tokyo. It is primarily involved in the production and distribution of anime within Japan. The company was founded in March 1981 by Pioneer Corporation as LaserDisc Corporation, a LaserDisc player production company. Daphne In The Brilliant Blue
is a Japanese anime television series animated by J.C.Staff and broadcast on TV Kanagawa from January to July 2004. The anime was originally licensed by Geneon USA. It is now licensed by Sentai Filmworks. ''Black Lagoon'' (stylized in all caps) is a Japanese anime television series based on the manga series of the same title by Rei Hiroe. ''3×3 Eyes'' (pronounced in Japanese) is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Yuzo Takada. It was serialized in Kodansha's ''seinen'' manga magazines ''Young Magazine Kaizokuban'' and ''Weekly Young Magazine'' from 1987 to 2002, spanning to a total of 40 volumes. The English language translation was published by Dark Horse Comics, but was discontinued after the release of volume 8 in 2004. Two Original Video Animation (OVA) series based on ''3×3 Eyes'' were released in 1991 and 1995 and cover the storyline up to volume 5 of the manga. The first consists of four episodes averaging to half-hour of runtime and the second consists of three averaging out to 45 minutes of runtime. The story primarily focuses on the members of the Juken Club and their opposition, the Executive Council, which is the ruling student body of a high school that educates its students in the art of combat. Paranoia Agent
