Nitrogen-vacancy Center
The nitrogen-vacancy center (N-V center or NV center) is one of numerous point defects in diamond. Its most explored and useful property is its photoluminescence, which allows observers to read out its spin-state. The NV center's electron spin, localized at atomic scales, can be manipulated at room temperature by external factors such as magnetic, or electric fields, microwave radiation, or light, resulting in sharp resonances in the intensity of the photoluminescence. These resonances can be explained in terms of electron spin related phenomena such as quantum entanglement, spin–orbit interaction and Rabi oscillations, and analysed using advanced quantum optics theory. An individual NV center can be used as a basic unit for a quantum computer, a qubit, and used for quantum cryptography. The Nissan NV (Nissan Van) is a full-size van produced by Nissan from 2011 to 2021. It was developed and marketed for the United States and Canada, where Nissan had not previously been present in the full-size segment. Until the introduction of the Nissan NV, Mexico was the only country in North America selling a full-size Nissan van, as the Nissan Urvan was sold there. The NV nameplate was previously used by a small pickup truck sold in Thailand. The AD is sold under a different name when manufactured as a passenger car, called the . __TOC__ VB11 series In October 1982, the AD Van supplemented (and also gradually replaced) the commercial delivery vans based on Nissan's other vehicles. NV (pronounced as envy) is a 26-story residential high-rise in the Pearl District in Portland, Oregon. Formerly known as The Overton, the tower opened in 2016. History Plans for a 26-story apartment building at the site, to be called The Overton, were announced in November 2012. The city approved the design in April 2014. Demolition of a warehouse on the site began in July 2014. Construction on the tower began in August 2014 by developer Unico Properties. The construction process was complicated by the fact that the contractor was building two other residential towers adjacent to NV. The residential high-rise opened in September 2016. Features NV stands tall over 26 floors. The first two floors contain retail space, with the rest of the tower consisting of 284 apartments. A Nv network is a term used in BEAM robotics referring to the small electrical Neural Networks that make up the bulk of BEAM-based robot control mechanisms. Building blocks The most basic component included in Nv Networks is the Nv neuron. The purpose of a Nv neuron is simply to take an input, do something with it, and give an output. The most common action of Nv neurons is to give a delay. BEAM Nv Neurons The standard for BEAM-based neurons is a capacitor that has one lead as an input, and the other going into the input line of an inverter. That inverter's output is the output of the neuron. The capacitor lead that is inputting into the inverter is pulled to ground with a resistor. The neuron functions because when an input is received (positive power on the input line), it charges the capacitor.
