Anheqiaobei station () is a station on Line 4 of the Beijing Subway. It is the northern terminus of Line 4 and located just outside the northwest corner of the 5th Ring Road. Qinglongqiao Subdistrict (), is a subdistrict of Haidian District, Beijing. and is located immediately north of the Summer Palace. Haidian District () is a district of the municipality of Beijing. It is mostly situated in northwestern Beijing, but also to a lesser extent in the west, where it has borders with Xicheng District and Fengtai District. Island Platform
An island platform (also center platform, centre platform) is a station layout arrangement where a single platform is positioned between two tracks within a railway station, tram stop or transitway interchange. Island platforms are popular on twin-track routes due to pragmatic and cost reasons. They are also useful within larger stations where local and express services for the same direction of travel can be provided from opposite sides of the same platform thereby simplifying transfers between the two tracks. Line 4 (Beijing Subway)
Line 4 of the Beijing Subway () is a subway line in Beijing's mass transit network. It entered into operation on 28 September 2009, and runs from north to south, parallel and to the west of Line 5, through Haidian, Xicheng, and Fengtai Districts in the western half of the city. It runs from Anheqiao North in the north and ends at Gongyixiqiao in the south, but the 4-Daxing connected line runs all the way to Tiangongyuan in Daxing.
