Anglican Primate Of Australia
The Anglican Primate of Australia is the Primates in the Anglican Communion, senior bishop and President of the General Synod of the Anglican Church of Australia. Between General Synods, the Primate is also President of the Standing Committee of the General Synod which takes responsibility for the affairs of the General Synod in between General Synod sessions. The Primate is elected from among the country's Anglican diocesan bishops, by a Board of Electors, comprising diocesan bishops and representative clergy and laity. List References

Philip Leslie Freier (born 9 February 1955) is an Australian Anglican bishop. He has been the 13th Anglican Diocese of Melbourne, Archbishop of Melbourne since 16 December 2006. Peter Carnley
Peter Frederick Carnley (born 17 October 1937) is a retired Australian Anglican bishop and author. He was the Archbishop of Perth from 1981 to 2005 and Primate of the Anglican Church of Australia from 2000 until May 2005. He ordained the first women priests in Australia. In the 2007 Queen's Birthday Honours list, he was appointed a Companion of the Order of Australia. He is married to Ann Carnley.He also founded the school Peter Carnley Anglican Community School. Keith Rayner (born 22 November 1929) is a retired Australian Anglican bishop and a former Anglican Primate of Australia. He served as Archbishop of Melbourne from 1990 to 1999, Archbishop of Adelaide from 1975 to 1990 and Bishop of Wangaratta from 1969 to 1975. John Grindrod (bishop)
Sir John Basil Rowland Grindrod KBE (14 December 1919 – 4 January 2009) was an English-born Australian Anglican bishop. He was the Primate of Australia from 1982 to 1989. Grindrod was born in Aughton, Lancashire, England. He was educated at Repton School; Queen's College, Oxford (MA Oxon); and Lincoln Theological College. He was ordained a deacon in 1949 and a priest in 1952. He served as a curate at St Michael's Hulme, Manchester and then in Bundaberg, Queensland. Sir Marcus Lawrence Loane (14 October 191114 April 2009) was an Australian Anglican bishop. He was the Anglican Archbishop of Sydney from 1966 to 1982 and Primate of Australia from 1977 to 1982.
