Angelo Costanzo
Angelo Francesco Antonio Costanzo (born 9 May 1976 in Adelaide) is a retired Australian soccer player. He was voted into the Adelaide United Team of the Decade. He is currently married to his wife, Helen and is the father of his two children; Domenic and Liliana. Club career In 1994 at 18 years of age he won the SA player of the year award at Salisbury United, and was invited to join Adelaide City on an off-season tour of Vietnam. In 1995/96, his first season in the national league, he played alongside two of Australia's most credentialed defenders in Alex Tobin and Milan Ivanovic, and established a regular starting position as Adelaide City reached the preliminary final. Alex Tobin
Alexander Hugh Tobin (born 3 November 1965) is a former Australian footballer. Tobin is the fifth-most capped player for the Australia national football team with 87 'A' appearances, including 30 as captain. He made his international debut on 9 March 1988 in an Olympic qualifying match against Taiwan (3–2) in Adelaide. Club career Tobin spent his entire club career playing in Australia. He played most of his club career as a defender with Adelaide City in the National Soccer League. Alex left Adelaide City in 2000, after sixteen years with the club, to join Parramatta Power. He finished his career with Northern Spirit. Tobin played a total of 522 senior club games in Australia. Tobin currently works for Hills United FC as their Technical Director. 2002 OFC Nations Cup
The 2002 OFC Nations Cup took place in New Zealand, between 5 and 14 July 2002. The competition was divided into two group stages, with a knockout tournament at the end. Before the tournament, 11 of the nations were seeded according to their 2001 FIFA ranking, while New Caledonia was placed last by default, as it was not a FIFA member. The six lowest-ranked teams took part in the first stage of qualifying, in which the two highest placed teams at the end of the round-robin stage gained qualification to the second group stage, made up of the six ''highest''-ranked teams. The remaining eight teams were then split into two groups of four, with the top two nations from each group progressing to the knockout stage. Australia failed to defend the title they won in 2000. The AFC Champions League (abbreviated as ACL) is an annual continental club football competition organised by the Asian Football Confederation, and contested by Asia's top-division football clubs. A-League Men (known as the Isuzu UTE A-League for sponsorship reasons) is the highest-level professional men's soccer league in Australia and New Zealand. At the top of the Australian league system, it is the country's premier men's competition for the sport. A-League Men was established in 2004 as the A-League by the Football Federation Australia (FFA) as a successor to the National Soccer League (NSL) and competition commenced in August 2005. 2009–10 A-League
The 2009–10 A-League was the 33rd season of top-flight soccer in Australia, and the fifth season of the A-League competition since its establishment in 2004. The season marked the addition of two new teams from Queensland. Gold Coast United FC and the North Queensland Fury FC made their A-League debuts at the start of the season. Because of this, Queensland Roar were renamed to Brisbane Roar, as they were no longer the only A-League club from Queensland. 2008–09 A-League
The 2008–09 A-League was the 32nd season of top-flight soccer in Australia, and the fourth season of the A-League competition since its establishment in 2004. Two new clubs, North Queensland Thunder and Gold Coast Galaxy had received tentative licences from the FFA but these were revoked for the 2008–09 season on 12 March 2008.
