''Ang Pinakamagandang Hayop sa Balat ng Lupa'' (although "The Most Beautiful Animal in the World" is the official translation, the literal meaning of the title is "The Most Beautiful Animal on the Surface of the Earth") is a 1974 Tagalog-language film from the Philippines. The story was written by Celso Ad. Castillo. The screenplay was written by Rafael Ma. Guerrero. The film starred Filipino actors Gloria Diaz (Miss Universe 1969 title holder), Vic Vargas, and Elizabeth Oropesa. The film was produced by Gemini Films International and was shot in Sicogon Island of Carles, Iloilo in the Western Visayas region of the Philippines. Dick Israel
Ricardo Vizcarra Michaca (10 December 1947 – 11 October 2016), known by his stage name Dick Israel, was a Filipino character actor who played mostly villain and sidekick roles in many Filipino movies. He later branched out in television playing father and supporting roles. On 11 October 2016, Israel suffered blood vomiting, and later died in his home, according to actress Vivian Velez, a member of the Damay Kamay Foundation. He was 68. His wife, Marilyn Michacha, died less than week later due to unrelated circumstances. Before his death, Israel was seeking help after his residence in Bagong Barrio, Caloocan was damaged in a fire in July of the same year. "Dindi" ( - which sounds like Jin-jee in English) is a song composed by Antônio Carlos Jobim, with lyrics by Aloysio de Oliveira. It is a world-famous bossa nova and jazz standard song. Jobim wrote this piece especially for the Brazilian singer Sylvia Telles. "Dindi" is a reference to a farm named "Dirindi", in Brazil, a place that Jobim and his friend/collaborator Vinicius de Moraes used to visit (according to Helena Jobim, his sister, in her book "Antonio Carlos Jobim - Um Homem Iluminado"). Jose Maria Marfori Asuncion (March 28, 1939 – July 19, 2003), better known by his stage-name Vic Vargas, was a Filipino film actor and judoka. Early life and career Vic Vargas was born on March 28, 1939. When he was 17, Vargas won three championships for judo in the Philippines.
