Andy Whitt
Michael Andrew Whitt is an American banker, politician, and a Republican member of the Alabama House of Representatives, representing District 6. Whitt is chair of the Economic Development and Tourism committee and the vice chair of the house financial services committee. Rep. Whitt is also a member of the Alabama Commission on the Evaluation of Services. Personal life Whitt is an eighth generation Alabamian and a lifelong resident of Madison County, Al. He is a 1993 graduate of Sparkman High School, attended Calhoun Community College and Louisiana State University (LSU). He was the vice president of the First American Bank from 1996 to 2008, and has been the senior vice president and Madison County Executive of the First National Bank since 2008. Phil Williams is an American politician and businessman from the state of Alabama. He served as a Republican member of the Alabama House of Representatives representing the 6th District, serving from 2009 to 2018. The Alabama State House of Representatives is the lower house of the Alabama Legislature, the state legislature of state of Alabama. Sparkman High School
Sparkman High School is a public high school in Harvest, Alabama, United States in the Madison County Schools district. The school was named after senator and former vice presidential nominee John Jackson Sparkman. Sparkman is one of the largest high schools in northern Alabama and serves students in grades 10- 12. The school's mascot is a Senator. The school has an enrollment of around 2,400 students. Sparkman High's main rivals are Bob Jones High School and James Clemens High School. Calhoun Community College is a public community college in Tanner, Alabama. It is the 2nd largest of the 24 two-year institutions that make up the Alabama Community College System. History The college was founded in 1946 and named after John C. Calhoun, the 7th Vice President of the United States. He was a War Hawk of 1812, hence the Calhoun athletic teams names. The First National Bank is a historic bank building in Huntsville, Alabama. The temple-form Greek Revival structure was built in 1835–1836. Designed by locally famous architect George Steele, it occupies a prominent position, facing the courthouse square and sitting on a bluff directly above the Big Spring. It was the longest-serving bank building in Alabama, operating until 2010 when Regions Bank moved their downtown branch to a new location.
