Andy Goode (badminton)
Andrew Brian Goode (born 30 January 1960) is a retired badminton player from England. Badminton career Goode represented England and won a gold medal in the team event and two silver medals in the men's and mixed doubles, at the 1986 Commonwealth Games in Edinburgh, Scotland. In 1990, Goode who won the men's and mixed doubles title at the National Championships, had been left out of the England team for the European Championships in Moscow. He later won two more medals in the team event and mixed doubles at the 1990 Commonwealth Games in Auckland, New Zealand. He also competed for Great Britain in the 1992 Summer Olympics. Billy Gilliland
Billy Gilliland (born 27 March 1957) is a former badminton player from Scotland who excelled from the mid-1970s through the mid-1980s. Career Although he won the Scottish national singles title in 1979, the tall, angular Gilliland was a doubles specialist at the international level with his greatest success coming in mixed doubles. Gilliland won mixed doubles at the prestigious All-England Championships with England's Nora Perry in 1985. He had previously reached the All-England final in both men's doubles and mixed doubles in 1982. He was a mixed doubles bronze medalist at the 1977 IBF World Championships with Joanna Flockhart. Meadowbank Stadium (officially the Meadowbank Sports Centre) is a multi-purpose sports facility located in the Meadowbank area of Edinburgh, Scotland. Joanne Gwendoline "Jo" Goode MBE (née Wright; born 17 November 1972) is a former English badminton player. She represented Great Britain at the 1996 and 2000 Olympic Games, and won the 2000 mixed doubles bronze medal with Simon Archer. Goode also won seven gold medals at the Commonwealth Games, a gold at the European Championships, and a silver at the World Championships. Career Goode competed in badminton at the 2000 Summer Olympics in mixed doubles with Simon Archer and won a bronze medal.
