Andy Christell
Andy "A.C." Christell (born 14 June 1964 in Stockholm, Sweden) is a Swedish bass guitarist. He is known for playing in glam rock outfit Electric Boys and is the current bassist for Hanoi Rocks. He is a very close friend of Conny Bloom's and they two played together growing up. Christell was recruited into Hanoi Rocks in 2004, shortly after Bloom. Although he had considered giving up the bass prior to this, Bloom and Andy McCoy (another former bandmate), were able to persuade him otherwise. Christell has been described as a "polite quiet guy." Electric Boys
The Electric Boys are a Swedish band founded in Sweden in 1987 playing funky hard rock with roots in the 70s groove rock and 60s pop and psychedelia. Career They were formed by Conny Bloom (real surname: Blomqvist) (guitar/vocals) and Andy Christell (bass). Originally a duo, they signed for Polygram and released the single "All Lips 'n Hips" in 1987. This early version of what would become perhaps the band's best-known hit also appeared in America on the soundtrack to the movie ''Feds''. The band then added second guitarist Franco Santunione and drummer Niclas Sigevall. Hanoi Rocks
Hanoi Rocks was a Finnish rock band formed in 1979. They were the first Finnish band to chart in the UK and they were also popular in Japan. The band broke up in June 1985 after drummer Nicholas "Razzle" Dingley died in a drunk driving accident with Vince Neil behind the wheel during their first US tour in December 1984. After their initial break-up, Michael Monroe was the first Finnish artist to chart on the American Billboard 200 in 1989. Original vocalist Michael Monroe and guitarist Andy McCoy reunited in 2001 with a new lineup that lasted until 2009. Although musically closer to traditional rock n' roll and punk, the band have been cited as a major influence in the glam metal genre for bands such as Guns N' Roses, Skid Row and Poison. Conny Bloom
Conny Bloom is the stage name for Ulf Conny Blomqvist, (born 23 November 1964 in Stockholm) who is a Swedish guitarist and songwriter. He is best known as the frontman for the funk metal band, Electric Boys. Bloom also served a stint as a guitarist of the Finnish rock band Hanoi Rocks and in Silver Ginger 5 Career Bloom began working in the musical arena and teamed up first with bassist Andy Christell, working as a duo, with Bloom supplying the vocals and guitar to Christell's bass guitar. They were signed by Polygram and scored a local Swedish hit with the single "All Lips and Hips" in 1988. Andy McCoy
Antti Hulkko (born 11 October 1962), better known as Andy McCoy, is a Finnish musician. He is best known for his role as the lead guitarist and main songwriter of the rock band Hanoi Rocks, but has also played with Iggy Pop and a variety of other groups. McCoy's works cover a wide range of music genres, including rock 'n' roll, punk rock, flamenco, glam punk, glam rock, blues rock and hard rock. He is also an avid painter.
