Andrew Murdock
Andrew Murdock (born January 24, 1962), also known as Mudrock, is an American record producer specializing in rock and metal genres. He is best known for producing Godsmack's ''Godsmack'' and ''Awake'' albums. More recently, Murdock has produced American metal band Avenged Sevenfold's albums ''Waking the Fallen'' and ''City of Evil'', as well as albums for Slunt, The Riverboat Gamblers, Powerman 5000, a series of singles for hardcore and metal band DYS, whom he also did live sound for in the 1980s, Eighteen Visions, Ãœnloco, Dave Reffett, Alice Cooper, and 50 Foot Wave's EP ''Power and Light''. He had also contributed to Linkin Park's early ''Hybrid Theory'' EP. Murdock has also worked with The Virgin Millionaires. Eighteen Visions is an American metalcore band from Orange County, California, formed in October 1995. The band broke up in April 2007, less than a year after their major label debut was released through Epic and Trustkill Records. After over a decade of absence, the band reformed in 2017. They announced their sixth album, '' XVIII'', would be released via their new label home at Rise Records. 50FOOTWAVE is an American alternative rock band, formed in 2003. The band is fronted by Kristin Hersh, who writes the group's songs with collaborative efforts from the other group members in composing and arranging the music. Dave Reffett (born June 6, 1983) is an American hard rock and heavy metal guitarist, singer, producer and bassist from Blue River, Kentucky. Reffett is best known as the singer, lead guitarist, and producer of the album ''The Call of the Flames'' from his project Shredding The Envelope, as well as being a noted player, performer and columnist in the guitar community. Ünloco is an American nu metal band formed in Austin, Texas. History Ünloco was formed in 2000 by frontman vocalist Joey Dueñas, with Pete Navarrete on drums, Victor Escareño on bass, and Brian Arthur on guitar. That same year, the band released a six-track EP titled '' Useless'' through Captiva Records. The band was signed by Madonna's Maverick label and on March 20, 2001, Ünloco released their debut album ''Healing'' produced by Johnny K. DYS is an American straight edge hardcore punk band from Boston, Massachusetts, who were part of the " Boston Crew" in the 1980s, along with contemporaries such as SSD and Negative FX. The group later expanded their sound, becoming one of the first hardcore bands to veer into heavy metal.
