Andrew Lynch (born in Soldotna, Alaska) is a singer-songwriter, trumpeter, keyboard player, audio engineer, and music producer, who lives in Los Angeles, California. In 2004, he released his debut album ''Samaritopia'' with the help of Pat Boone and Bill Hudson. The album features Sebastian Steinberg and The Section Quartet, who he occasionally performs with at Largo. He is a former band member of Los Angeles indie rock band The Black Pine. In the fall of 2007, Lynch toured with Earlimart in support of their record Mentor Tormentor, playing keyboards and trumpet. In late 2007, he continued working with the band, playing horns on, engineering, and producing their 2008 record, Hymn and Her. The following year, he recorded The Section Quartet's debut film score, music for Drew Barrymore's directorial debut, '' Whip It''. Soldotna, Alaska
Soldotna is a city in the Kenai Peninsula Borough in the U.S. state of Alaska. At the 2020 census, the population was 4,342, up from 4,163 in 2010. It is the seat of the Kenai Peninsula Borough. Soldotna is located in the Southcentral portion of Alaska on the central-western portion of the Kenai Peninsula. The city limits span 7 square miles along the Kenai River, which empties into the Cook Inlet in the nearby city of Kenai. Off! (band)
Off! (stylized as OFF!) is an American hardcore punk supergroup, formed in Los Angeles, California in late 2009 by Circle Jerks/ Black Flag singer Keith Morris, Burning Brides frontman Dimitri Coats, Redd Kross bassist Steven Shane McDonald, and Rocket From The Crypt/Hot Snakes drummer Mario Rubalcaba. In 2021, it was announced that the line-up changed, with McDonald and Rubalcaba replaced by Autry Fulbright II and Justin Brown, respectively. The band are known for playing short, intense punk songs, with ''Pitchfork'' describing the band as "a vital blast of classic hardcore." Dangerbird Records is an independent record label in Los Angeles, California. The label is home to artists from around the world and part of the burgeoning Silver Lake music scene. Film School is a five-piece indie rock band from Los Angeles and San Francisco. History The band was formed in 1998 by lead singer Greg Bertens. Initially, the band only consisted of Bertens working with members of Fuck and Pavement when they released their debut album ''Brilliant Career,'' on MeToo! records in 2001. Jason Ruck (keyboards), Nyles Lannon (guitar), Justin Labo (bass guitar), and Ben Montesano (drums) joined the band on a permanent basis later that year.
