Andrew Leipus
Andrew Leipus (born 9 January 1970, Adelaide, Australia) is a physiotherapist. Since October 1999, he has worked for the Board of Control for Cricket in India as the physiotherapist of the Indian national cricket team. Leipus retired at the end of 2004. He was credited for substantially upgrading the Cricket team's medical conditions and treatment. In addition to improving facilities and treatment options (he legendarily found on his first day that the team's first aid kit was out of Band-Aids), he encouraged the team to start training in gyms. These training sessions led to a great improvement in the team's fitness level and, eventually, its level of play. In cricket-crazy India, Leipus became a media fixture whenever key players suffered injuries. Media pressure is said to be one of the reasons Leipus declined to renew his contract. Pakistan Super League
The Pakistan Super League (PSL) is a professional Twenty20 cricket league contested during February and March of every year by six teams representing six cities of Pakistan. The league was founded on 9 September 2015 with five teams by the Pakistan Cricket Board. Instead of operating as an association of independently-owned teams, the league is a single entity in which each franchise is owned and controlled by investors. Each team plays the group stage matches in a double round robin format; the top four teams with the most points qualify for the playoffs, culminating in the final. Multan Sultans (Urdu: ) is a Pakistani professional Twenty20 franchise cricket team representing the city of Multan in southern Pakistan in the Pakistan Super League (PSL). The team was founded in 2017 as an additional sixth team added to the PSL. The team plays its home matches at Multan Cricket Stadium.
