Andy Hill (born 1951) is an American music supervisor, record producer, and music educator. Under the name A.W. Hill, Hill has written three novels, ''Nowhere-Land'', ''The Last Days of Madame Rey'', and ''Enoch's Portal'', and a screenplay based on the life of Nikola Tesla. Biography Andy Hill was born in Chicago, Illinois, United States, and educated at New York University's Tisch School of the Arts. Andrew Gerard Hill (born 1957 in Bracknell, Berkshire, England) is an English record producer and songwriter who worked with Bucks Fizz and Celine Dion during the 1980s and 1990s. On many of his compositions he was partnered by lyricist Peter Sinfield, who had formerly worked with King Crimson. He has been nominated for an Ivor Novello Award on seven occasions, and has won the award twice in the category "Best Song Musically and Lyrically" and once for "Songwriter of the Year". He also composed the winning song in the 1981 Eurovision Song Contest. Andrew Hill (born 11 June 1980) is a former Australian rules footballer who played with Collingwood in the Australian Football League (AFL). Hill, a Tasmanian, played for the Mariners in the TAC Cup. He wasn't selected in the 1998 national draft and in 1999 played with the Burnie Dockers in the Tasmanian Football League during which he represented Tasmania versus the Western Australian Football League (WAFL) in Kalgoorlie, Western Australia. In the year 2000 he moved to the then stand alone Northern Bullants in the Victorian Football League (VFL) and impressed enough in his outings that he was signed by Collingwood for the 2001 and 2002 seasons before being delisted due to injury at the end of 2002. Andrew Hill (October 5, 1956 – March 19, 2011) was an American professional football player who was a wide receiver in the National Football League (NFL). He was selected by the Los Angeles Rams in the 12th round of the 1979 NFL Draft. A , 170 lb receiver from Georgia Tech, Hill played in 14 NFL seasons from 1979 to 1982 and from 1984 to 1993. As a member of the Houston Oilers, he set the team's record for most career pass receptions. He teamed with Ernest Givins, Curtis Duncan, Haywood Jeffires and Warren Moon in the Oilers' Run & Shoot offense. Andrew Rowland Hill (born 20 January 1965) is an English former professional footballer who played as a defender. In a 15-year career, he scored 19 goals in 551 league and cup appearances in the Football League and Premier League. He began his career as a youth team player at Manchester United and played on the losing side in the 1982 FA Youth Cup final. However, he never made a first-team appearance and moved on to Bury in July 1984. He was named Bury's Player of the Year after helping the club to secure promotion out of the Fourth Division in the 1984–85 season. Andrew Hill (1946–2015) was a British palaeoanthropologist and palaeontologist. He was the J. Clayton Stephenson Professor of Anthropology at Yale University. Education and career Hill was born on 6 June 1946, in Huthwaite in Nottinghamshire. He studied geology and palaeontology at the University of Reading, graduating in 1967, and published his first scientific paper, on fossil chordates, the following year. He then completed a PhD under William Bishop at Bedford College. Hill began conducting research in East Africa in 1968. After finishing his PhD in 1975, he obtained a research position with the National Museums of Kenya (NMK) and later became the director of the International Louis Leakey Memorial Institute for African Prehistory in Nairobi.
