Andrew Brooks Greer (born July 10, 1982) is a touring independent singer-songwriter and writer living in Nashville, Tennessee. Background Greer was born in Azle, Texas, on July 10, 1982, the son of Thomas and Jane Greer ('' née'', Girard), before moving to Nashville, Tennessee to attend Belmont University. Azle, Texas
Azle ( ) is a small city west of Fort Worth in Parker and Tarrant Counties in the U.S. state of Texas. As of the 2010 census, the city population was 10,947. Azle is the home of the Azle Marching Green Pride marching band and the Fighting Azle Hornets. Geography Azle is on State Highway 199, northwest of downtown Fort Worth, in the northwest corner of Tarrant County; the town extends partly into Parker County. According to the United States Census Bureau, the city has a total area of , of which is land and , or 0.20%, is covered by water. History The first recorded settlement at the site occurred in 1846, when James Azle Steward, a young doctor, moved into a log cabin built by a Dutchman named Rumsfeldt. Alison Krauss & Union Station is an American bluegrass and country band associated with singer Alison Krauss. It was initially composed of Krauss, Jeff White, Mike Harman and John Pennell. Later additions included Tim Stafford, Ron Block, Adam Steffey, Barry Bales and Larry Atamanuik. A Dove Award is an accolade by the Gospel Music Association (GMA) of the United States to recognize outstanding achievement in the Christian music industry. The awards are presented annually.
