Andrew Duffield
Andrew Peter Duffield (born 9 February 1958) is an Australian musician, producer and teacher. He has been a member, on keyboards, synthesisers or electronics, for various groups, including Whirlywirld, Models and Absent Friends. Duffield has also been a backing musician for other artists both on tours and for studio sessions. Biography Andrew Peter Duffield, studied electronic music with Felix Werder, classical music composer and critic, in Melbourne. In June 1978 Duffield played synthesiser for The Boys Next Door's debut album, ''Door, Door'' (1979). In August 1978 Duffield on electronics, was a founding member of Whirlywirld with John Murphy on drums and electronics (ex-News); Ian "Ollie" Olsen on lead vocals, electronics, and saxophone (The Reals, The Young Charlatans); Dean Richards on guitar; and Simon Smith on electronics. Melbourne

Sean Patrick Kelly (born 9 November 1958) is an Australian singer, guitarist and songwriter best known as a founding member of the bands Models, Absent Friends and The Dukes. Biography In his youth, Kelly was exposed to a variety of musical genres that eventually influenced his own style. Before developing a taste for pop music and the Top 40s, he would listen to his parents classical music and show tunes. Growing up in an Irish Catholic family, he was exposed to music from an early age. His mother, sisters and cousins play the piano, and he too learned how to play before switching to the guitar and drums in his teens. Saxophone
The saxophone (often referred to colloquially as the sax) is a type of single-reed woodwind instrument with a conical body, usually made of brass. As with all single-reed instruments, sound is produced when a reed on a mouthpiece vibrates to produce a sound wave inside the instrument's body. James Valentine (journalist)
James Matthew Valentine (born 1961) is an Australian musician, and radio and television presenter. As a saxophonist he was a member of Jo Jo Zep (1982), Models (1984–87) and Absent Friends (1989–90). Biography James Matthew Valentine was born in 1961 in Ballarat. His father was a car salesman and his mother taught elocution and was a part-time radio announcer. He has two older brothers. He attended Ballarat Grammar School where he learned saxophone, he described his performances in the local area, "a really bad jazz rock fusion gig." In the early 1980s Valentine relocated to Melbourne to attend university, he later recalled "First year I spent studying, and then I started getting gigs, and I didn't pay much attention to uni after that because I wanted to be a jazz musician." "Sardine" and "pilchard" are common names for various species of small, oily forage fish in the herring family Clupeidae. The Crocodiles was a New Zealand pop/ new wave band formed in 1979 with lead singer Jenny Morris, who went on to commercial success as a solo artist in Australia; and later included drummer Barton Price, who subsequently joined Sardine v and then Models. James Freud
James Randall Freud (born Colin Joseph McGlinchey; 29 June 1959 – 4 November 2010) was an Australian rock musician-songwriter. He was a member of Models during the 1980s and wrote their two most popular singles, "Barbados" and " Out of Mind, Out of Sight". His autobiographies ''I am the Voice Left from Drinking'' (2002) and ''I am the Voice Left from Rehab'' (2007) detail his career in music entertainment and addictions. NOTE: Used for Australian Singles and Albums charting from 1970 until ARIA created their own charts in mid-1988. It was released in October 1983 on Mushroom Records with Nick Launay producing. The album provided three singles, "I Hear Motion" released in September, which peaked at No. 16. Neither "No Shoulders, No Head" released in December, nor "God Bless America" released in April 1984, peaked into the Australian Top 50 singles chart. ''Local &/or General'' is the second studio album by Australian new wave rock band Models, which peaked at #30 on the Australian albums chart. NOTE: Used for Australian Singles and Albums charting from 1970 until ARIA created their own charts in mid-1988. It was released in October 1981 on Mushroom Records with Stephen W Tayler producing. Early in 1981, Janis Friedenfelds was replaced on drums by Mark Hough (a.k.a. Buster Stiggs) from New Zealand band The Swingers. Prior to flying to the United Kingdom to record ''Local &/Or General'', Models had made some demo recordings, which proved successful enough to be released as an EP, '' Cut Lunch'' in June.
