Anders Ekborg
Jon Anders Ekborg (born 9 October 1960) is a Swedish actor and singer who has performed the roles of Karl Oskar in '' Kristina från Duvemåla'' and Freddie Trumper in ''Chess'', two musicals that were written by former ABBA members Benny Andersson and Björn Ulvaeus. He has also acted in many Swedish-language versions of musicals, such as Jekyll and Hyde, '' Evita'' and '' Jesus Christ Superstar''. He has been married to the actress Lia Boysen. Ekborg also toured extensively throughout Sweden, mostly accompanied by Bengt Magnusson and Anders Lundqvist. He has released one album in his own name; ''Äkta Vara'' (2006). Additionally, he has appeared in numerous gala concerts including Rhapsody in Rock. In 2007 he appeared in two huge arena shows; Queen - Another kind of magic and The Christmas Show. ''Crimes of Passion'' is the English collective title for a series of six feature-length crime films released in 2013, based on six of the early novels of the prolific Swedish crime novelist Maria Lang (real name Dagmar Lange), written in the late 1940s and early 1950s. The films were co-produced by Svensk Filmindustri and Swedish commercial broadcaster TV4 (Sweden), TV4. The first film was released in Swedish cinemas on 8 March 2013, and received indifferent or poor reviews from most Swedish critics. The remaining five were released on DVD in Sweden during the autumn of 2013 and were all made available on TV4's Video on demand#Subscription models, subscription video on demand service TV4 Play Premium in June 2014. A ''snapphane'' was a member of a 17th-century pro-Danish guerrilla organization, auxiliaries or paramilitary troops that fought against the Swedes in the Second Northern and Scanian Wars, primarily in the eastern former Danish provinces that had become southern Sweden in these wars. ''Wallander'' () is a Swedish television series adapted from Henning Mankell's Kurt Wallander novels, starring Krister Henriksson in the title role. The first season of thirteen films was produced in 2005 and 2006, with one taken directly from a novel and the remainder with new storylines suggested by Mankell. The second season of thirteen films was shown between 2009 and 2010. The stories are set in Ystad, Skåne near the southern tip of Sweden. ''Drowning Ghost'' ( sv, Strandvaskaren) is a 2004 Swedish slasher film directed by Mikael Håfström and written by Lars Yngwe "Vasa" Johansson and Håfström. It stars Rebecka Hemse, Jesper Salén and Jenny Ulving. Plot The movie opens at a boarding school, at the time of the big party before summer break. While most of the students are outside listening to the headmaster's speech one student, Rebecka, is seen showering and writing a letter before jumping off the school's tower to her death.
