Anders Ly (born 1995), known mononymously as Anders (stylized as anders), is a Canadian singer, rapper and songwriter. Anders is a twice Juno Award nominated artist. He is best known for his second EP ''Twos'' (2017) and for his collaboration with Canadian DJ duo Loud Luxury titled " Love No More". Anders initially gained recognition for his single "Diamonds". Anders then released a single produced by fellow Canadian record producer FrancisGotHeat and featuring American rapper Rich the Kid titled "Sticky Situation" in 2019. Anders released his fourth EP, ''Honest'' on July 29, 2021. Anders released his latest single “Come With Me” on June 24, 2022. Early life Anders Ly was born in 1995 in Mississauga, Ontario. Contemporary R&B
Contemporary R&B (or simply R&B) is a popular music genre that combines rhythm and blues with elements of pop, soul, funk, hip hop, and electronic music. The genre features a distinctive record production style, drum machine-backed rhythms, pitch corrected vocals, and a smooth, lush style of vocal arrangement. Electronic influences are becoming an increasing trend and the use of hip hop or dance-inspired beats are typical, although the roughness and grit inherent in hip hop may be reduced and smoothed out. Frvrfriday (stylized in all caps) is the stage name of Tommy Ruhingubugi, a Rwandan-Canadian R&B singer, rapper and record producer. He is best known for his 2020 single "Window Shopping" which featured American rapper Lil Baby and "What I Like" featuring Anders which earned him a nomination for Rap Single of the Year at the Juno Awards of 2022. Khalil Tatem (born August 19, 1997), better known by his stage name Killy (stylized as KILLY), is a Canadian rapper from Toronto. He is best known for his break-out single "Killamonjaro" which is certified Platinum by Music Canada, and his debut album "Surrender Your Soul" which is certified Gold by Music Canada. Early life Khalil Tatem was born August 19, 1997, to a Bajan father and Filipino mother. Killy grew up in Toronto, Ontario before moving to Victoria, British Columbia at 8 years old. The Mod Club Theatre (commonly called Mod Club) was an entertainment venue in Toronto that operated from 2002 to 2020. Its address was 722 College Street, which is in the city's Little Italy neighbourhood. Founded by Platinum Blonde frontman Mark Holmes and fellow English-expat Bobbi Guy, the venue hosted live performances and DJ nights. Overview Mod Club Theatre had a 618 person capacity and a stage that was 24 feet wide x 18 feet deep. Its interior was accented with murals featuring images of 1960s mod subculture.
