Andalusian Social Liberal Party
The Andalusian Social Liberal Party ( es, Partido Social Liberal Andaluz; PSLA) was a political party in Andalusia. The party was led by Manuel Clavero, Ministry for Territorial Administrations, Deputy Minister of the Regions. The party advocated regional autonomies, but not a federal state. History The party was launched at a meeting in Seville December 12, 1976. The founding congress of the PSLA was held in Seville January 21–22, 1977, which elected a regional committee. Clavero Arévalo was elected chairman of the party and Antonio José Delgado general secretary. The party congress declared that the party sought alliances with other centrist forces. In July 1977 the historian Manuel Ruiz Lagos, founder and regional committee member of the PSLA, resigned from the party. The PSLA joined the Union of the Democratic Centre (Spain), Union of the Democratic Centre (UCD) electoral coalition ahead of the 1977 Spanish general election and would merge into the UCD upon its constitution ...

Manuel Clavero
Manuel Francisco Clavero Arévalo (25 April 1926 – 14 June 2021) was a Spanish lawyer and politician who as Assistant Minister of the Regions between July 1977 and April 1979 contributed to the construction of the current State of Autonomies in Spain. He also served as Minister of Culture from April 1979 to January 1980. Biography Clavero was born on 25 April 1926 in Seville in a middle-class Catholic family. He studied Laws at the University of Seville. He then became professor of administrative law in that University and its Rector between 1971 and 1975. Among his students were Adolfo Suárez and Felipe González, who would become Spain's first democratically elected prime ministers. The 1977 Spanish general election was held on Wednesday, 15 June 1977, to elect the Spanish Cortes of the Kingdom of Spain. All 350 seats in the Congress of Deputies were up for election, as well as all 207 seats in the Senate.
