Anaís Martínez (born June 22, 1984) is a Latin Grammy Award-nominated Dominican-American singer from Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic. She rose to fame after winning the Puerto-Rican singing competition show ''Objetivo Fama'' in 2005. Early life Anaís was born in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic. She came to the United States at an early age and was raised in The Bronx, New York City since she was eight years old. Her passion of music began through her work with the Los Cumbiancheros school choir, performing regionally in a variety of styles, including Latin, reggaeton, salsa, tropical music and ballads in both Spanish and English. In 2002, she appeared on an episode of ''The Jerry Springer Show'' titled "Bring On The Bisexuals". ''Objetivo Fama'' (sometimes abbreviated as ''OF'', Spanish for ''Target: Fame'') is a Puerto Rican singing talent contest that aired for over six years on WLII, the Univision outlet in Puerto Rico; and on Telefutura in the mainland United States. It is produced by Ender Vega and ''Soraya Sánchez'' ES Television. The program was loosely inspired by the late Puerto Rican singing talent contest and variety show, Voces en Función, and the Spanish reality show, Operación Triunfo. Twenty or so contestants are "bunkered" in a studio/house where they will live together for several months while participating in a weekly show where one of them is eliminated, en route to find a "young star". ''Con Todo Mi Corazón'' ( en, With All My Heart) is the second album from Latin music singer and winner of the second season of Objetivo Fama, Anaís. The album was released in the U.S. on April 3, 2007 and had an April 18 release in Mexico. The lead single "Tu Amor No Es Garantía" premiered in January 2007. The majority of the songs included on the album are almost all ballads. Anaís has said in many interviews that she was given more creative control with this album. She did a cover of the Daniela Romo song "Quiero Amanecer Con Alguien" and of "Reencuentro" along with Milly Quezada and Sergio Vargas, originally recorded by Álvaro Torres. She also co-wrote "Sexy Mama", which is sung partly in English. A special Deluxe Edition of the album was released on October 16, 2007. Objetivo Fama (season 2)
The second season of ''Objetivo Fama'' began in 2005. This season the judges are Roberto Sueiro, Hilda Ramos, and Fernando Allende. The show was hosted by Mexican actor/singer Victor Noriega and Puerto Rican celebrity Yizette Cifredo. Auditions Final Cutdown Out of each audition, a group of semi-finalists were selected. This was the first time that international contestants participated in the contest. Marco Antonio Solís
Marco Antonio Solís Sosa (born 29 December 1959) is a Mexican musician, singer, composer, and record producer. Born and raised in Ario de Rosales, Michoacán, Solís began his musical career at the age of six, performing part of Los Hermanitos Solís. In 1975 he co-founded Los Bukis, of which he was the lead vocalist and guitarist. The band split up after nearly two decades of success, with Solís pursuing a solo career.
