Anastasia Shpilevaya
Anastasia Andreyevna Shpilevaya (russian: Анастасия Андреевна Шпилевая; born 26 June 1999) is a Russian former competitive ice dancer. With her former skating partner, Grigory Smirnov, she is the 2019 Bavarian Open champion, Figure skating at the 2016 Winter Youth Olympics, 2016 Youth Olympic champion, and 2017 Russian Figure Skating Championships, 2017 Russian junior national champion. Personal life Anastasia Andreyevna Shpilevaya was born on 26 June 1999 in Odesa, Ukraine. She resides in Moscow, Russia. Career Early years Shpilevaya began learning to skate in 2005. During the 2011–12 figure skating season, 2011–12 season, she competed with Andrei Lebed on the advanced novice level, winning silver at the Volvo Open Cup in Latvia and bronze at the Baltic Cup in Poland. The 2016–17 Grand Prix of Figure Skating Final and ISU Junior Grand Prix Final took place from 8 to 11 December 2016 at the Palais omnisports Marseille Grand-Est in Marseille, France. Marseille was announced as the host on 27 October 2015. The combined event is the culmination of two international series — the Grand Prix of Figure Skating and the Junior Grand Prix. Bavarian Open
The Bavarian Open is an annual international figure skating competition organized by the Skating Union of Bavaria. Since 2011, it is sanctioned by the Deutsche Eislauf Union and the International Skating Union. The event is held in February at Eissportzentrum Oberstdorf in Oberstdorf, Germany. 2015–16 ISU Junior Grand Prix
The 2015–16 ISU Junior Grand Prix was the 19th season of a series of junior international competitions organized by the International Skating Union. It was the junior-level complement to the 2015–16 ISU Grand Prix of Figure Skating. Medals were awarded in the disciplines of men's singles, ladies' singles, pair skating, and ice dance. At each event, skaters also earned points toward qualifying for the final. The top six skaters or teams from each discipline met at the 2015–16 Junior Grand Prix Final, held together with the senior final. Competitions The locations of the JGP events change yearly. Courchevel
Courchevel () is a French Alps ski resort. It is a part of Les Trois Vallées, the largest linked ski areas in the world. Courchevel also refers to the towns of Courchevel 1300 (Le Praz), Courchevel 1550, Courchevel 1650 (Moriond), and Courchevel 1850, which are named for their altitudes in metres. On 1 January 2017, Saint-Bon-Tarentaise (1100) merged into the new commune Courchevel. The resort centre of Courchevel is at 1,747 metres (5,732 ft). The name Courchevel 1850 was chosen for marketing reasons to compete with rival ski resort Val d'Isère. It is the Jardin Alpin area of Courchevel 1850 rather than the centre which is located at 1,850 metres (6,070 ft). Ice Challenge
The Icechallenge (formerly known as the Leo-Scheu-Gedächtnislaufen or Leo Scheu Memorial) is an annual international figure skating competition organized by the Grazer Eislaufverein and sanctioned by the Austrian Figure Skating association and the International Skating Union. The event is usually held every autumn in Graz, Austria. Medals may be awarded in the disciplines of men's singles, ladies' singles, pair skating, and ice dancing. In 2014 and 2015, the Ice Challenge's senior events were part of the ISU Challenger Series. In 2021, the Icechallenge returned to the ISU Challenger Series under the name Cup of Austria. The 2012–13 figure skating season began on July 1, 2012, and ended on June 30, 2013. During this season, elite skaters from men's singles, ladies' singles, pair skating, and ice dance competed on the International Skating Union (ISU) Championship level at the 2013 European, Four Continents, World Junior, and World Championships.
