Anambra River
The Anambra River (Igbo: Ọmambala) flows into the Niger River and is found in Anambra, Nigeria. The river is the most important feeder of the River Niger below Lokoja. The flow of the Ọmambala River is released into the Atlantic through various outlets forming the Niger Delta region. Anambra River Region and Culture Omambala was the name of the ancient goddess whose river runs from the Uzo-uwa-ani underworld to Aguleri, Anam, Nsugbe and Onicha axis, where it connects with Nkisi & Niger-kwora/Mgbakili Rivers in their journey to the Atlantic Ocean, according to the indigenous people. The Ezu and Ezichi rivers also flow into Anambra river at Agbanabo and Oda respectively. Nsugbe
Nsugbe is a town in Anambra East Local Government Area, Anambra State, Nigeria. Location It is bordered by Onitsha on the west, Nkwelle-Ezunaka, Umunya to the southwest, Anam to the North. On the east are towns such as Umuleri, Aguleri, Enugwu Aguleri, Nando, Nteje, Awkuzu, Igbariam, and Achalla. Among the villages within Nsugbe includes Agbalagbo, Amumu, Akpalagu and Oguari. Ogbunike
Ogbunike is a town in the Oyi local government area of Anambra State, Nigeria. Location It is located about 15 kilometers east of Onitsha. The Onitsha-Enugu expressway cuts through its northern border. Ogidi, Anambra
Ogidi is an Igbo town, the headquarters of Idemili North Local Government area, Anambra State, Nigeria. It has an estimated population of 70,000 and has as its neighbours Abatete, Ṅkpọr, Ụmụnnachị, Ụmụoji, Ogbụnike and Ụmụdiọka.
