Ana Margarita MartÃnez-Casado
Ana Margarita MartÃnez-Casado (born Ana Margarita MartÃnez-Casado y Torralbas on May 4, 1930) is a well-known Cuban actress and singer. Family Martinez-Casado was born into one of Cuba's theatrical families. That family started with her great-grandfather who owned a theater. His daughter Luisa has a theater in Cuba named after her. Martinez-Casado's grandparents, Manolo Martinez-Casado and Celia Adams were both actors, as were their eight children. Early life - Cuba and career Ana Margarita's involvement with music entertainment did not begin until she was 12 years old. At this age, her mother wanted her to study piano with the thought that all girls needed some sort of talent. Camagüey
Camagüey () is a city and municipality in central Cuba and is the nation's third-largest city with more than 321,000 inhabitants. It is the capital of the Camagüey Province. Biography Early life Leon Ichaso was born in Havana, Cuba, on August 3, 1948. Ichaso migrated to Mexico at the age of 14 and then to the United States with his mother, Antonia Ichaso, and sister, Mari Rodriguez Ichaso. Gonzalo Roig Lobo (Havana, 20 July 1890 – Havana, 13 June 1970) was a Cuban composer, pianist, violinist and musical director. He was a pioneer of the symphonic movement in Cuba. His most popular works are the zarzuela ''Cecilia Valdés'' and the song " Quiéreme mucho" (known in English as "Yours"). Life and career In 1902, he began to study piano, music theory and solfège and then later graduated in music studies at the Havana Conservatory. In 1907, he played part, as a pianist, in an ensemble ( trio), and thus started his very active career in music, composed his first musical piece ''Voice of misfortune'' for piano and solo voice.
