Ana Luiza Koehler
Ana Luiza Koehler (Porto Alegre, May 12, 1977), is a Brazilian comics artist and architect. She has a Master's degree in Architecture from the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul and has worked with illustration since 1993, mainly with publishers of the Franco-Belgian comics market. Her first work was for European publisher Éditions Daniel Maghen in 2009, being responsible for the art of the two volumes of the graphic novel ''Awrah'', written by Fuat Erkol and Christian Simon. Koehler has also worked for publishers such as Soleil Productions, Fauvard and DC Comics, among others, as well as creating scientific illustrations of Archeology and History. In 2015, Koehler became curator of Festival Internacional de Quadrinhos, the most traditional comics festival in Brazil. Universo HQ ("Comics Universe") is a Brazilian website about comics and considered the most important Brazilian information source on comics-related news. History Universo HQ was created by Samir Naliato and first aired on January 5, 2000. After six months, he invited the journalist Sidney Gusman to become the website's editor. Gusman also invited Sérgio Codespoti and Marcelo Naranjo to work with them, followed by many different collaborators during the years. A dip pen or nib pen or pen nib usually consists of a metal nib with capillary channels like those of fountain pen nibs, mounted in a handle or holder, often made of wood. Other materials can be used for the holder, including bone, metal and plastic; some pens are made entirely of glass. Festival Internacional de Quadrinhos (FIQ) is a comic convention held in Belo Horizonte, Brazil, every two years. Soleil Productions is a French publisher of both original and imported comic books. History Soleil was founded in 1989 in Toulouse.
