An Aussie Goes Calypso
''An Aussie Goes Calypso'' is an Australian reality television series which airs on the pay TV channel FOX8. The series features Australian cricket fan Gus Worland following the Australian cricket team during their 2008 tour of The West Indies. The series is a sequel to Worland's previous series ''An Aussie Goes Barmy'' and ''An Aussie Goes Bolly''. Its debut is on 3 December 2008. Episode One: Gus travels to Antigua and is given a tour of the island by his hero, Sir Vivian Richards. Gus challenges Viv to an over of cricket and ends up bowling to the "Master Blaster". Gus is tonked with a lovely hook shot (showing Viv has still "got it." ''An Aussie Goes Barmy'' is an Australian reality television series which aired on the pay TV channel FOX8 in 2006. The series featured Australian cricket fan Gus Worland infiltrating the Barmy Army, an organised group of supporters of the England cricket team. The series was narrated by Hollywood actor Hugh Jackman, who had been "best mates" with Worland since they attended the same kindergarten in Australia. The production company owned by Jackman and his wife Deborra-Lee Furness, Seed Productions, devised and produced the series with Granada Productions and Foxtel. Stuart Charles Glyndwr MacGill (born 25 February 1971) is an Australian former cricketer who played 44 Test matches and three One Day Internationals for the Australian national cricket team. Sir Isaac Vivian Alexander Richards (born 7 March 1952) is an Antiguan retired cricketer who represented the West Indies cricket team between 1974 and 1991.
