Amor En Silencio
''Amor en silencio'' (English title: ''Silent Love'') is a Mexican telenovela produced by Carla Estrada for Televisa in 1988. Its first broadcast was in Mexico in 1988 and then made its debut in Latin America, Europe, Asia and, in a unique situation, it was broadcast in the United States by Telemundo during primetime. It can be said that this is the only Televisa telenovela that was never shown on Univision. Back then Telemundo got the rights to ''Amor en silencio'' and ''Pasión y poder'', the latter one got picked up by Univision in 1993 as daytime programming. The 1st part of the telenovela was starred by Erika Buenfil and Arturo Peniche while Margarita Sanz, Elvira Monsell and Joaquín Cordero starred as antagonists. Telenovela
A telenovela is a type of a television serial drama or soap opera produced primarily in Latin America. The word combines ''tele'' (for "television") and ''novela'' (meaning "novel"). Similar drama genres around the world include '' teleserye'' (Philippines), '' téléroman'' (Canada, specifically Quebec), and ''sinetron'' (Indonesia). Commonly described using the American colloquialism Spanish soap opera, many telenovelas share some stylistic and thematic similarities to the soap opera familiar to the English-speaking world. The significant difference is their series run length; telenovelas tell one self-contained story, typically within the span of a year or less whereas soap operas tend to have intertwined storylines told during indefinite, continuing runs. ''A que no me dejas'', formerly known as ''A que no me dejas, corazón'' (English title: ''I Dare You to Leave''), is a Mexican telenovela produced by Carlos Moreno for Televisa. It is a remake of the Mexican telenovela ''Amor en silencio'', produced in 1988. Production of ''A que no me dejas'' officially started on May 26, 2015 in Televisa San Ángel. The series stars Camila Sodi as Paulina in the first part of the story and Valentina in the second part, Arturo Peniche, Cecilia Gabriela, Alejandra Barros, and Laura Carmine who appear in all episodes, Osvaldo Benavides as Adrián, Leticia Calderón as Inés, and Alfredo Adame as Alfonso in the first act and Erika Buenfil and César Évora and Ignacio Casano in the second act. José Elías Moreno (12 November 1910 – 15 July 1969) was a Mexican character actor. He appeared in more than 180 films between 1937 and 1969. He was from the state of Jalisco. Saby Kamalich, born Sabina Fantoni Kamalich, (13 May 1939 in Lima, Peru – 13 September 2017 in Mexico City, Mexico) was a Peruvian- Mexican actress, known for her work in television and film.
