Amol Redij
Amol Redij ( mr, अमोल रेडीज; born 18 September 1977) is author, poet, and creative content designer from Maharashtra, India. He was awarded Literoma Author Achiever Award 2021. Education Amol Redij grew up in Mumbai and went to St. Paul High School. He completed his schooling from Gokuldham High School (1984-1993) and higher secondary college from M. V & L. U. College (1993-1995). Later Amol went on to complete his Bachelor's in Engineering with Electronics from University of Pune in 1999. Amol holds several industry recognized certifications in Information Technology domains. He began his career as a Website Developer and has successfully emerged as an Information Design & Development expert. Personal life Amol was born on 18 September 1977 in suburban area of Parel, Mumbai, in a Vaishya Vani family. He grew up in a middle class Maharashtrian family. Parel (ISO: Paraḷ, pronunciation: əɾəɭ is a neighbourhood of Mumbai. Parel used to have a number of textile mills, but these have been replaced by commercial office space development. History Originally, Parel was a separate island, one of the Seven Islands of Bombay. The Parel Relief or (Parel Shiva) is an important monolithic relief of the Hindu god Shiva in seven forms that is dated to the late Gupta period, in the 5th or 6th century AD by the ASI. It was found in Parel when a road was being constructed in 1931, and moved to the nearby Baradevi Temple, where it remains in worship, in its own room. The name Parel has its roots from the ''Parali Vaijanath Mahadev'' temple dedicated to Lord Shiva. Vaishya Vani
Vaishya Vani is a sub- caste of Vaishyas, one of the varnas of Hinduism. Because of their hereditary occupation as traders and merchants, they are found in many regions in India, including Konkan, Bihar, some parts of the Canara subregion of Karnataka & the Cochin area in Kerala. In the Konkan division of Maharashtra, there were subdivisions of Vani communities, like Kudali (coming from Kudal) in Savantwadi, Sangameshwari (from Sangameshwar) in Ratnagiri& Patne (from Patan) in Satara. In the Goa state, they speak Konkani and Mahratti. In the Gujarat state and the Daman territory, they are also known as Vaishnav or Vaishnav Vanik. During the period of the Kadambas of Goa, they were known as ''Banajiga''s (merchants) who were engaged in trade.
