Ami Wazlawik
Ami Wazlawik (born 1985/1986) is an American politician and former member of the Minnesota House of Representatives. A member of the Minnesota Democratic–Farmer–Labor Party (DFL), she represented District 38B in the northeastern Twin Cities metropolitan area. Early life, education, and career Wazlawik graduated from White Bear Lake Area High School. She attended St. Olaf College, studying psychology, and the University of Minnesota, graduating with a Bachelor of Arts in psychology and a master's degree in public policy from the Humphrey School of Public Affairs. Minnesota House of Representatives Wazlawik was elected to the Minnesota House of Representatives in 2018 and reelected in 2020. She chose not to run for reelection in 2022. DFL Rep. Matthew T. "Matt" Dean (born April 15, 1966) is an American politician. He served as the Majority Leader of the Minnesota House of Representatives from 2011 to 2013. A member of the Republican Party of Minnesota, he represented District 38B, which included portions of Ramsey and Washington counties in the eastern Twin Cities metropolitan area. He is an architect and the owner of Dean Architects in Dellwood. Early life and education Born in the northeastern Minnesota city of Ely, Dean was raised in the Twin Cities suburb of Roseville. He graduated from the University of Minnesota in Minneapolis with a Bachelor of Architecture degree. Dean competed in track and cross country in high school and college. Minnesota Democratic–Farmer–Labor Party
The Minnesota Democratic–Farmer–Labor Party (DFL) is the Minnesota affiliate of the U.S. Democratic Party. As of 2022, it controls four of Minnesota's eight U.S. House seats, both of its U.S. Senate seats, the Minnesota House of Representatives, and all other statewide offices, including the governorship. Beginning in 2023, the party will also control the Minnesota Senate, giving it full control of state government. White Bear Township is an urban township in Ramsey County, Minnesota, United States. The population was 10,949 at the 2010 census. White Bear Township was organized in 1858, and named after its White Bear Lake. Twin cities are a special case of two neighboring cities or urban centres that grow into a single conurbation – or narrowly separated urban areas – over time. There are no formal criteria, but twin cities are generally comparable in status and size, though not necessarily equal; a city and a substantially smaller suburb would not typically qualify, even if they were once separate. White Bear Lake Area High School (abbreviated WBLAHS) is a high school in White Bear Lake, Minnesota, United States. The school was formed by merging White Bear High School (WBHS) and White Bear Mariner High School in the 1983–84 school year. It currently consists of two campuses and an alternative learning center.
