Beverly Hilton Hotel
The Beverly Hilton is a hotel located on an property at the intersection of Wilshire and Santa Monica boulevards in Beverly Hills, California. The Beverly Hilton has hosted many awards shows, charity benefits, and entertainment and motion picture industry events, and is particularly known as the venue of the annual Golden Globe Awards ceremony. History Conrad Hilton opened the Beverly Hilton in 1955. American architect Welton Becket designed the hotel as a showpiece with 582 rooms. Since 1961, the hotel's International Ballroom has hosted the Golden Globe Awards ceremony, presented annually by the Hollywood Foreign Press Association. In 1975, 50% of the property was sold to Prudential Insurance Company forming a partnership with the Hilton Hotels Corporation. Lee Unkrich
Lee Edward Unkrich (born August 8, 1967) is an American film director, film editor, screenwriter, and animator. He was a longtime member of the creative team at Pixar, where he started in 1994 as a film editor. He later began directing, first as co-director of ''Toy Story 2''. After co-directing ''Toy Story 2'', ''Monsters, Inc.'' and ''Finding Nemo'', Unkrich made his solo directorial debut with ''Toy Story 3'' in 2010, and most recently directed '' Coco'' in 2017, both of which won the Academy Award for Best Animated Feature and the Academy Award for Best Original Song. After working at Pixar for 25 years, Unkrich retired from the company in January 2019 to spend more time with his family and pursue other interests. Ken Schretzmann is an American film editor known for animated features such as ''Cars'' (2006), ''Toy Story 3'' (2010), ''The Lorax'' (2012), and ''The Secret Life of Pets'' (2016) as well as ''The Willoughbys'' (2020) and ''Pinocchio'' (2022). Schretzmann received a bachelor's degree from Syracuse University in 1982.
